\nSoftware Quality Assurance Analyst\n\nSA Ignite is looking for an outstanding, handson QA professional that can keep up with the rapid software development of a star-up environment.\n\n Here’s what we are looking for:\n\n\n\n* Four+ years relevant work experience in ensuring quality in web-based applications\n\n* Experience in health care and start up environments is preferred\n\n* Proficiency and comfort in an Agile software development methodology\n\n* Experience using bug tracking tools\n\n* Comfort using SQL queries in a relational database environment\n\n* Familiarity with automated testing tools\n\n* Detailed oriented and organized to follow issues through to resolution\n\n* Excellent technical writing skills to document specifications and test plans\n\n* Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across teams\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHad you been with us last month, you would have helped us with:\n\nQualifying all software product releases and Electronic Health Record (“EHR”) extractors: You would have performed system testing of our software based on user scenarios, completed regression testing on all updated code, and performed integration testing on a new “extractor,” (a tool that pulls data out of a physician practice’s EHR system). To do this, you would have had to: \n\n\n* Plan, create, and execute software test cases for integration, system and regression testing;\n\n* Perform detailed data verification by comparing data from the source to the destination;\n\n* Setup all necessary test data for comprehensive testing;\n\n* Develop automated test scripts for defined scenarios\n\n* Monitor the testing progress of projects and provide status updates.\n\n* Research Meaningful Use (MU) and PQRS rules (regulations that drive the software’s functionality) to understand business requirements;\n\n* Identify and log bugs, including necessary effort to figure out how it can be reproduced;\n\n* Document and maintain bug tracking metrics\n\n* Follow-up on critical issues to ensure timely resolution;\n\n* Execute SQL queries and procedures to ensure connectivity/data transfer to complete integration testing;\n\n* Run EHR reports from various client EHR systems with limited documentation;\n\n* Provide input on the code or a system can be released to general audience;\n\n* Provide feedback to the development team on features to enhance the software.\n\n\n\n\nApply for this position if you are:\n\n\n* Mature, patient and great with people\n\n* Intellectually curious\n\n* Resourceful and a “doer”\n\n* Collaborative and described as a “team-player”\n\n* Honest, kind and appreciate others\n\n* Self-directed and “own” everything you do\n\n* A great problem-solver\n\n* Open and reflective\n\n\n\n\n Do not apply for this position if you:\n\n\n* Would feel uncomfortable without a well-defined corporate structure\n\n* Have clear boundaries about where your job starts and stops\n\n* Need policies and procedures to guide your decision-making\n\n* You’re accustomed to asking your boss for your next assignment\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
