\nLocumTap is growing. Grow with us! We’re a well-funded healthtech startup that’s on a bold mission to move healthcare forward.\n\nBackground\n\nLocumTap redefines HR for healthcare in ways that saves hospitals millions, makes doctors happy and most importantly, improves patient safety.\n\nOur clients are seeing impressive results which has attracted the wider attention of the healthcare sector. Founded by former NHS Doctors, the vision is being brought to life by a talented and diverse team.\n\nDo your best work. We are looking for a Front-end Engineer to join our growing product team where your work will be instrumental in contributing to LocumTap’s lofty mission.\n\nThe opportunity:\n\nYou'll be working directly alongside our Head of Product and Senior Software Engineer, taking full responsibility for the front end development across our app (iOS and Android), the website and associated web applications. (with the option to hire contract support as needed).\n\nThere is a large program of work, initially seeing us rebuild from scratch the current versions of the app using JavaScript, ReactJS and React Native. No legacy code for you to have to manipulate! And whilst the feature set is well used by our audience (so we are initially replicating in a new tech stack) there is a robust product roadmap of feature enhancement, which you will be a key influencer of. \n\nOnce the apps are rebuilt, the website and applications will all have significant user modifications and use case reviews. This means that you’ll become a valuable and significant member of our team.\n\nIf you’re looking for responsibility, autonomy and a great collaborative environment, not stifled by bureaucracy and red tape, then you’ve just found it!\n\nAbout you:\n\n\n* \n\nA passion for your craft—testing and software quality.\n\n\n* \n\nExperience working with teams to ship products and capable of working independently when needed.\n\n\n* \n\nProven commercial experience working with JavaScript and experience working with JavaScript frameworks; ideally React or Angular.\n\n\n* \n\nConfident creating React Native mobile apps from scratch and with autonomy\n\n\n* \n\nComfortable working in a modern JavaScript dev environment/workflow – git, code reviews, npm, jest, webpack/rollup\n\n\n* \n\nIn depth of knowledge of CSS and CSS pre-processors (SCSS / Sass)\n\n\n* \n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills – we are a small but growing team and pay close attention to our documentation and team communication.\n\n\n\n\n\nLet's have initial discussion. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
