\nWe are looking for a AWS Cloud Hero to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure on AWS. You will be part of a team creating and maintaining mission critical infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance and security. We use AWS as well as an on-premise environment for testing. We are currently moving a part of our running services into a flexible Docker/Kubernetes setup that should allow our platform to scale matching the data flowing through it.\n\nWhat you'll be responsible for\n\n- Design, setup and manage our AWS Services including the fleet of EC2 instances, VPC's, AWS lambda etc.\n- Design, setup and manage deployment environments for Java, Ruby, PHP and Python\n- Continually automate, monitor and improve our deployment processes\n- Design, setup and manage Docker/Kubernetes\n- Identify opportunities and bring solutions to day-to-day challenges\n- Explore the AWS product suite to support our business (AWS Neptune, AWS SageMaker etc)\n- Contribute in a positive way to the atmosphere within the team\n- Deployment and provisioning of our current and future infrastructure includes:\nDatabases: Postgresql, Mysql, Stardog, ElasticSearch\nApplications: Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, NodeJS\nWeb content delivery: Apache, Nginx, AWS Cloudfront\n\n\nWhat we're looking for\n\n- Ability to build reliable and scalable infrastructure via IaaS (Terraform)\n- Proficiency in Terraform\n- Ability to advise technical teams through design and implementation, with a focus on Kubernetes\n- Experience in Public Cloud deployments on AWS\n- Linux System administration experience\n- CLI scripting skills (Bash)\n- Working knowledge of system monitoring tools\n- Independently driven, proactive, accountable, and reliable team player\n- Full working proficiency in English\n- International mind-set\n\nBonus points for\n\n- Knowledge on virtualisation and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, KVM)\n- Knowledge of: SELinux administration, Networking\n- Experience with: Maven, SonarQube, Kafka\n\nWhat we give you\n\n- A salary you're happy with\n- Freedom to work where and when you want (as long as your team is on board!)\n- Trusting, transparent and diverse working culture\n\nIf you're convinced you are the right fit and you can’t wait to join our team, we look forward to hearing from you! \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
