With a team of world class security experts, a strong base of top-tier clients and the increasing sophistication and proliferation of cybercrime, PhishLabs is very positioned to continue its rapid growth.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nYou will be a crucial member of our growing engineering team that develops large scale threat detection, monitoring, and training products, as well as systems used by the PhishLabs Security Operations Center and RAID teams as they mitigate existing threats.  Using your technical skills as a full-stack Software Engineer 4, and can-do attitude, you will work as a member of an agile team striving toward the best practices in software engineering while fighting back against cybercrime.\n\nHow you will impact PhishLabs and our clients\n\n\n* Design scalable and maintainable software solutions that meet business objectives\n\n* Build software for the diverse and constantly evolving landscape of detecting, analyzing, and monitoring cyber security threats\n\n* Work on problems of diverse scope requiring analysis of sometimes complex contributing factors to quickly diagnose root causes and solve them\n\n* As part of a scrum team participate in grooming and estimating stories, daily progress updates, demos of working software, and retrospectives\n\n* Periodically provide on-call technical support for unexpected issues affecting customers\n\n* Network with internal and external individuals with varying degrees of technical skills on your areas of expertise\n\n\n\n\nWhat you need to SUCCEED\n\n\n* 8+ years of software development experience with a progression of increasing scope and complexity of work\n\n* Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field\n\n* Experience creating and maintaining large-scale, distributed, and highly-available applications using Google Golang, Java EE, and PHP\n\n* Experience with JSON, RESTful web services, asynchronous/concurrent programming models\n\n* Strong SQL, relational database (RDBMS), and non-relational database skills; including data structures, and query analysis and optimization.  Experience with MySQL/Aurora is desirable.\n\n* Deep understanding the core front end web technologies of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript\n\n* Experience utilizing web development frameworks such as Symfony, React Redux, Angular, and Bootstrap\n\n* Mastery of Linux/UNIX command line tools\n\n* A demonstrated history of good SDLC practices utilizing issue management software, managing code with Git, test driven development, performing code reviews, and producing documentation\n\n* Experience as a team leader and mentor to less experienced developers\n\n\n\n\nWhat helps you stand out\n\n\n* Experience with Natural Language Processing and/or Machine Learning\n\n* A strong understanding of information security threats and vulnerabilities, and experience mitigating exploits\n\n* Certification in secure programming (e.g. GSSP, CSSLP, ECSP, GWEB)\n\n* Experience utilizing Docker and Kubernetes in an AWS environment\n\n* Diverse programming experience utilizing other languages (e.g. Python, Perl, C++)\n\n* Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking and application protocols\n\n\n
