We're always innovating - we're looking for people that can own projects and see them through to delivery - while we want rock stars, we're not interested in prima donnas. Personal responsibility with respect to quality, attention to detail, and contribution of ideas is highly needed to succeed.\n\nWe are building a new team and a new product at Dealer Inspire! Management of automotive inventory is a core piece of functionality for our customer’s websites and the various products that we develop, and because we are just getting started you can have a big impact on the technologies that we use. You will be helping us architect and develop a large and highly complex system for processing inventory feeds as well as developing a brand new product to allow our customers the ability to configure and manage every aspect of their inventory.\n\nSkills & Requirements\n\nWe're flexible with learning on the job, with corresponding relevant work experience - but, for this position to be successful we need you to know the following, with a strong self-initiative to learn from others!\n\nEssential Responsibilities (including but not limited to):\n\n\n* Assist with debugging / development of bug fixes - day-to-day maintenance\n\n* Development of new features under the guidance of more senior team members.\n\n* Function as “project owner” for some new or existing projects, managing initial requirements, feature requests, and long term support.\n\n\n\n\nRequired:\n\n\n* 1+ years experience with front-end technologies such as React, Redux, and Webpack.\n\n* Mastery of HTML and CSS/SASS/Styled Components\n\n* 1+ years experience working with NodeJS\n\n* Experience with NodeJS frameworks like Express or StrongLoop\n\n* 1+ years experience working with MySQL or any NoSQL database; the ability to write efficient queries and benchmark/profile them\n\n* Strong understanding of asynchronous programming\n\n* Understanding of local development environments and integration of varying components.\n\n* Experience with performance debugging and benchmarking\n\n* Git version control\n\n* Experience with testing frameworks like karma, mocha, or jest\n\n* Strong attention to design detail. Matching markup/layout with mockups, and making them better. Knowing when things are off (even by a couple pixels) - and knowing why that impacts the experience negatively.\n\n* Strong communication skills.\n\n\n\n\nHighly Desired:\n\n\n* Experience working remotely\n\n* Familiar with functional programming\n\n* Performance debugging and benchmarking\n\n* High sensibility to UI design and UX\n\n\n\n\nCompensation:\n\n$80,000 - $110,000 per year based upon skill and previous experience.
