As part of the agent team, you’ll be deeply involved with the entire codebase and take on responsibilities for new features, improving the resource footprint and roadmap planning.\n\nSpecifically you will be responsible for developing code that integrates with several JavaScript frameworks, including ReactJS.\n\nYou will also work closely with the APM Server team when adding new features to the server API and with the UI team to ensure that we deliver the best possible experience for JavaScript developers.\n\nWhat you will be doing\n\n\n* Join the JavaScript RUM Agent APM team alongside one other person on the team.\n\n* Improve the JavaScript RUM agent.\n\n* Build new integrations to frameworks like React, Vue.js etc.\n\n* Handle pull requests and issues from the open source community.\n\n* Collaborate with APM Server and UI teams to ensure the best experience possible for JavaScript developers\n\n\n\n\nWhat you will bring\n\n\n* 8+ years of experience with JavaScript in-depth experience\n\n* Previous demonstrable APM experience is required.\n\n* Knowledge of browser and JavaScript engines inner workings, needed to be able to build a frontend APM agent.\n\n* Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, Ember, etc).\n\n* Ability to work independently in a globally distributed team\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\n* Competitive pay and benefits\n\n* Option to work 100% remote or from any office\n\n* Stock options\n\n* An environment in which you can balance great work with a great life\n\n* Passionate people building phenomenal products\n\n* Your age is only a number. It doesn't matter if you're just out of college or your children are; we need you for what you can do.\n\n\n\n\n\nElastic is an Equal Employment employer committed to the principles of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action for all applicants and employees.
