Front End Developer - Marketing site - Next.js, Prismic CMS\n\nScreenCloud makes it super simple for a business to turn any screen into a digital sign using consumer hardware. We have over 3,000 customers all over the world in retail & hospitality, education and corporate communications. They range from small businesses to huge enterprises. We have recently ramped up our marketing and need an experienced front end developer to support the team.\n\nWe are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and passionate person to manage the development of our marketing efforts. To begin with you will take on our new website and make it your own.\n\nWe are developing with next.js (https://github.com/zeit/next.js/) with server rendering only of course. Right now we push to zeit now for easy deployment and then hook our dns to that. The codebase utilises SCSS modules as well (https://github.com/zeit/next-plugins/blob/master/packages/next-sass/readme.md)\n\nThe site hooks up to Prismic CMS https://prismic.io/ up to this, the CMS structure for that is already in place. Prismic has a React lib https://prismic.io/docs/reactjs/getting-started/getting-started-from-scratch and https://github.com/prismicio/prismic-reactjs\n\nYou will have strong JavaScript and Front End engineering skills, be a strong team player and communicator with plenty of interest in technology and being part of a growing SaaS businesses.\n\nYou will be working with the design, content and marketing team to produce a world class top of funnel marketing platform.\n\nYou may question whether this is a full time role but we have plenty of initiatives we want to launch with resellers, partners, online education, developer sites etc. There will be plenty of work!\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nWe are looking for someone with experience of working in an online agency or business (preferably SaaS). You will need to be a self-starter and creative in your thinking around potential opportunities we could seize to help us grow our business.\n\nSpecifically we would be looking for:\n\nAt least 3 years experience in a front end developer role\nStrong attention to detail\nDesign orientated\nUp to speed on technical SEO requirements\nThoughtful about page speed optimisation\nProven creative problem-solving\nMotivated and able to work autonomously\nInterest in technology and SaaS-businesses\n\nBENEFITS\nCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications. This is because we want to treat people like adults and not track every bit of time off they have.\n\nWe are open to remote workers or those that want to base with our London office. Our preference is for those within a 3 hour time zone radius of the UK for closer collaboration. We will organise two company offsite trips per year so you will feel a proper part of the team.
