\nWe are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. If so, then we would like to hear from you.\n\nPlatphorm is a small but profitable company that provides a soup-to-nuts system that allows businesses to build scalable, reliable marketplaces where buyers pay sellers for information delivered by voice, mail, chat, SMS, or recorded phone message.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* Deploy, manage, and maintain applications and systems deployed to AWS and Docker\n\n* General Linux system administration\n\n* Implement, maintain, and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery environments\n\n* Troubleshoot problems and document solutions\n\n* Monitor and respond to alerts \n\n* Collaborate with and support development, QA, & product/marketing teams\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n* 5+ years experience\n\n* Strong oral & written communication skills\n\n* Comfortable working on & with remotely distributed teams\n\n* Experience using AWS (EC2, S3, & RDS at a minimum)\n\n* Proficient with Linux systems administration (RHEL/CentOS & Ubuntu specifically)\n\n* Experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools (Jenkins)\n\n* Exposure to configuration management tools (Puppet, Salt)\n\n* Comfortable using version control (Git)\n\n* Proficiency with docker & container technologies\n\n* Disaster recovery planning and experience with high availability systems\n\n\n\n\nNice to Have:\n\n\n* Exposure running Ruby/Rails environments\n\n* Strong Linux system-level analysis capabilities\n\n* Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)\n\n* Experience with container management systems (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Amazon ECS)\n\n\n\n\nBenefits:\n\n\n* Health/dental vision insurance\n\n* 401K\n\n* Great work/life balance\n\n* 13" MacBooks and computer monitor provided\n\n* Adjustable work desks\n\n* Snacks and Friday Happy Hours!\n\n* Great location Our San Francisco office is steps from the Powell BART/Muni station!\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
