\nTestplant is transforming software testing to focus on creating amazing digital experiences and drive user adoption, conversion, and retention (rather than simply code compliance checking).\n\nOur Digital Automation Intelligence Suite interacts with software exactly like a real user to test the true user experience, auto-generates tests at the UI and API level for greater productivity, enables customers to test the full user experience (e.g. performance and usability), manages the test environment, orchestrates large-scale test execution, and generates predictive analytics to understand the impact of a change on users across a wide range of operating systems and platforms.\n\nAll this success means we are growing our team.  We're looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about the software development process and enjoys a coding challenge in Objective-C! \n\nAbout the Role:\n\nThe Software Engineer will play an integral role in designing new functionality, focusing on the on-time implementation of new features and working with our crack QA team to resolve bugs and improve usability.\n\nSpecific responsibilities include:\n\n\n* Design and implement new features for eggPlant in Objective-C (Cocoa).\n\n* Help develop a cross-platform Cocoa interface layer for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux (GNUstep).\n\n* Work in a peer-programming environment.\n\n* Optimize eggPlant performance and reduce memory usage.\n\n* Resolve bugs identified by QA.\n\n* Occasional travel may be required.\n\n\n\n\nAbout You\n\nYou should have a proven track record of developing features for complex software with a strong background in software engineering principles.\n\nSpecific requirements include:\n\n\n* BA/BS in a technical field.\n\n* Knowledge of software development best practices\n\n* Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Software Development role.\n\n* Minimum 2+ years of experience with Obj-C (Mac OS X and/or iPhone).\n\n\n\n\nBonus Skills\n\n\n* Experience with XP or Kanban methodology.\n\n* Familiarity with Cairo.\n\n* Familiarity with Linux.\n\n* Familiarity with VNC/RDP.\n\n\n
