See www.xara.cloud for details.\n\nA new distributed team, building a new slick product, using the very latest, state of the art web technologies: Javascript, HTML5, CSS and WebGL for only the newest browsers and touch devices. The German office is in a spacious modern building in Berlin, the tech start-up hub of Germany.\n\nSkills & Requirements\n\nCandidates must possess the following experience and attributes:-\n\n\n* An IT or Science Degree, or equivalent\n\n* Solid commercial experience (3 years +) with:\n\n\n\n* Server-side programming\n\n* Linux configuration\n\n* TDD and continuous integration\n\n* JavaScript and Node.js\n\n* Advanced Bash programming\n\n* NOSQL (Redis and MongoDB are required)\n\n* TSDB\n\n* Docker\n\n* GIT\n\n\n\n* A solid understanding of cloud deployment strategies and scalable architectures\n\n* A desire to work on world-leading web software products\n\n* Highly motivated, with a positive attitude to work and the ability to learn quickly\n\n* Good trouble-shooting skills with the perseverance to solve problems\n\n* Able to work productively, both autonomously and as part of a dynamic team\n\n\n\n\nDesirable experience and attributes:-\n\n\n* Commercial experience with high-volume scalable architectures\n\n* Good knowledge of the most common web servers / load balancers (Apache, Nginx, HAProxy)\n\n* Experience with ELK and Grafana\n\n* Experience with AWS or GCP\n\n* Experience with Kubernetes\n\n* An interest in online security\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
