\nWe are a fully-funded stealth-startup with a functional alpha Python/Django application; we are tuning and building our production version as a robust, scalable, highly-available platform.\n\nWe are hiring hands-on Senior Backend Developer experts in the following categories:\n\n\n* DevOps-centric: AWS + Docker\n\n* Performance: Database query tuning experts and application profiling\n\n* QA: Testing engineers, load testing bots, integration tests and/or "fuzzing"\n\n* Security: Hardening, in-house pen testing, establishing and enforcing protocols\n\n\n\n\nYou’ll be taking initiative on optimizing our platform, building new features for our users, support tools for our staff, and management tools for our sysadmins, as we move from our functional alpha product to a scalable, performant production platform.\n\nINTERESTED?\nTo save time and streamline the process, we have created a "Round 0" pre-screen interview -- Please complete the following form, and include a link to your StackOverflow Talent Profile in Section 3:\n\nhttps://goo.gl/forms/bvfnLuELpJxa9d8j1\n\n\n\nTo be successful in this role, you'll:\n\n\n* Be an expert in Python and Django, as well as most of the following supporting languages, technologies and frameworks: Django-Rest-Framework, Celery, Docker, PostgreSQL, Amazon EC2 + ECS.\n\n* Be highly skilled in SQL, Linux command line and git.\n\n* Be familiar with modern frontend development practices including React, Redux and Sagas (our frontend engineers build all customer-facing pages, but you may need to implement some admin tools)\n\n* Be confident communicating with technical peers to build clearly defined requirements and convert these into robust technical architecture.\n\n* Be experienced in producing high-quality technical specifications, documentation and accurately estimating the time required for the build.\n\n* Be confident in providing tests to support code, contributing to testing strategies and providing high-quality user training documentation.\n\n* Have experience producing high-quality code to budget, demonstrating commercial awareness. \n\n* Have the ability to operate independently as technical lead on small projects.\n\n* Be confident contributing to proposals and pitching successfully.\n\n\n\n\nWe'd love you to have a current technical blog, web presence, or an active Github profile.
