Individuals who join our team will be a part of an exciting environment with plenty of opportunities for growth within the company.\n\nThe Migrations Development department at Filevine is the central point for data integration for all new clients to our software. We are a young team with a growing list of responsibilities and client backlog. We are in need of a senior level ETL and data specialist to help guide us from a technical perspective and mentor junior level team members on best coding practices.\n\nResponsibilities and Duties\n\n\n* Partner with the director of migration, customer success managers, and clients to ensure the most efficient migration of client data.\n\n* Serve as a data migration consultant in support of sales.\n\n* Assist migrations director with selection of and management of any ETL tools and technical processes.\n\n* Make recommendations and work to improve the data migration process to better predict and manage migration deadlines and client needs - Reusable and repeatable code and processes are key\n\n* Monitor and make recommendations/updates to data security and integrity\n\n* Mentoring team of migration specialists and technicians\n\n* Act as a technical advisor for small team of developers\n\n* Work with development team(s) to coordinate cross-team development efforts and code deploys\n\n\n\n\nQualifications and Skills\n\n\n* 5-10 years experience managing and coordinating data extraction, translation, and loading projects.\n\n* Firm grasp of data migration strategies, best practices, and pitfalls\n\n* Experience with SQL Server, Amazon AWS, SSMS\n\n* Senior level SQL knowledge (5-10 years)\n\n* Script Optimization\n\n* Enterprise Data Warehouse and Extract Transform Load knowledge\n\n* Experience with AWS Glue, SSIS, Informatica, or other services\n\n* Excellent communication skills\n\n* Ability to document via shared team knowledge base\n\n* Ability to help create repeatable/reusable code/scripts\n\n* Experience working with remote/distributed teams\n\n\n\n\nBenefits\n\n\n* Choice of equipment/software - company paid\n\n* Competitive compensation and benefits package - including health insurance and unlimited PTO\n\n* Rapidly growing company with opportunities to affect change\n\n\n\n\nThis role is 100% remote, reports to the Director of Data Migration, and does not currently involve any direct managerial reports. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
