But if you are in any doubt the type of experiences we expect you to have then the following should help clarify;\n\nWhat You've Done:\n\n\n* You have developed models for important metrics such as user churn, trial conversion, etc.\n\n* You have worked with data modeling and data quality.\n\n* Experience doing ad-hoc data analysis for a variety of teams.\n\n* You have experience designing and developing reports across a number of functions within the company.\n\n* You have knowledge of Elasticsearch and building dashboards in Kibana.\n\n* You've worked with both relational and non-relational data stores.\n\n\n\n\nNice to Haves:\n\n\n* You have been a major contributor to operating systems at scale.\n\n* You've worked with common data modeling tools.\n\n* You have owned or lead for a critical metric or analytics project.\n\n\n\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\n\n* You'll be the point person for making sure that the raw data we use for our critical performance indicators flows into our reporting systems.\n\n* Spot check the data to make sure that there are no obvious issues with ingesting it. And, provide access to this data when needed.\n\n* Respond to basic questions about how the data is gathered and what it means.\n\n* Generate reports and/or data dumps based on requirements provided by key partners. Contribute to automation of these reports.\n\n* Be the owner in Cloud for understanding the key metric requirements and lead any dev work required to expand our metering and analytics.\n\n* Be the dedicated point person from Cloud to work with Sales, Marketing, PM, etc. when planning key performance metrics and other detailed requirements.\n\n* Take requirements for meaningful metrics and analytics and translate them into actions/tasks for Cloud Engineering to implement.\n\n* Develop a deep understanding of the conclusions that can and can't be drawn from the data we're collecting and relate and document this to our operation systems.\n\n* Help define and develop data feeds, more complex reports, etc. based on the requirements of the business and Cloud.\n\n* Lead the data quality for our analytics and meaningful metric data. Ensure that we're getting the data we need and that it's as error free as possible.\n\n* Tackle problems with data and reports.\n\n* Be able to answering critical metric related questions coming from outside the Cloud Team. (IE: from PM, Sales, Marketing, etc.)\n\n* Develop analytical models to identify trends, calculate critical metrics and identify anomalies. Use these models to generate reports and data dumps that enrich our key performance indicators efforts.\n\n* Be the main point of contact on the Cloud Group that reviews and signs off on the regular reports that we deliver to the Cloud Team.\n\n\n\n\nTo be considered, please include a short note as to why you are a fit for this role! \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
