\nWe are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer / SysAdmin to monitor, manage, improve, and scale our AWS environment, and to work closely with the development team to streamline our development and release pipeline. \n\nThe ideal candidate is a self-starter, has a high level of attention to detail, is comfortable asking questions, enjoys working with talented colleagues, and has an interest in analytics and data visualization.\n\nThis is a part-time (15 to 20 hours per week) position. The work associated with this position cannot be completed after-hours or on weekends, so please only apply if you are available to work during regular business hours in a USA/Canadian time zone. \n\nResponsibilities include:\n\n\n* standard Linux sysadmin tasks (performance tuning, back-up and recovery, monitoring, troubleshooting, installations, patches and upgrades, security, automation) \n\n* management of dev, test, and production environments with configuration management (OpsWorks, Ansible or other tool)\n\n* AWS specific tasks (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, OpsWorks, AutoScaling, cost management, etc.)\n\n* management of our Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, etc)\n\n* assisting with data migrations and data archiving\n\n* some on-call / after hours work required\n\n\n\n\nSkills & Requirements:\n\n\n* expert Linux system administration skills (5+ years of experience)\n\n* expert AWS administration skills (2+ years of experience)\n\n* experience managing PostgreSQL\n\n* must work well independently\n\n* must have a high level of attention to detail\n\n* must have strong problem solving and analytical skills\n\n\n\n\nWe look forward to receiving your application. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
