Sematext is seeking a proactive CSS, HTML, and JavaScript website developer with a keen eye for design and detail, who loves building modern and elegant product-oriented websites powered by WordPress. Our products and services are taking off and our website β sematext.com β needs to follow suite and jump to the next level in terms of design, structure, content, etc. This role involves work with the head of products and services, as well as marketing and a designer. We are seeking a positive and proactive person with good command of English, both written and spoken, excellent communication skills, who wants to own the sematext.com development and design.\n\nNOTE:\nThis is not an engineering/programming/coding role. This role involves mostly work with HTML and CSS for https://sematext.com website. It does not involve work on Sematext Cloud. Programming is limited to working with JavaScript libraries and WordPress. For Frontend Developer positions (ReactJS, Redux...) see our website.\n\nLOCATIONS:\nThis position is open to candidates in Europe or South America.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\n* Proven UX/UI experience across mobile and web\n* Expert knowledge of modern HTML, CSS, and JS\n* Up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, techniques, and technologies\n* Great attention to detail, communicative, with good command of English language (read: doesnβt need an additional person to proof-read everything and clean up typos and misspellings)\n* Experience working in an agile environment, ideally with a distributed team like ours\n* Experience using and working with WordPress, including custom themes\n* Proficiency working with designers using tools such as Zeplin or InvisionApp, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools\n
