\nIf you'd like to work on a web application that makes a difference, read on.\n\nIntoximeters is looking for a software engineer to join our team of developers. Our primary application is used by states and counties to manage individuals who have been placed on a 24/7 sobriety program. This application is used by states to help reduce the frequency of DUIs, traffic fatalities, and domestic violence. The 5-person team develops primarily in Ruby on Rails and Angularjs. We have more than 4,000 Rspec and Jasmine tests, with more than 95% test coverage.\n\nAs for our environment, we use Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Compute Engine (GCE). Our instances run CentOS 7 images we create via Packer, and we use Terraform to provision our main infrastructure.\n\nWe use Chef with a Chef Server for configuration management, and we package the majority of our applications in Docker containers. In addition to these tools, we use Kubernetes to host applications including Kibana, Uchiwa, and Sensu, and we ship all of our logs into Elasticsearch for analysis. We use Jenkins for running tests, deploying, and building images, and we've also developed a tool for starting/stopping/deleting jobs in Jenkins based on GitHub webhooks. \n\nIf you like to learn new things and have experience with Rails or Angular(js), we'd love to hear from you. Please email Jim Evans at [email protected] with your information or apply online.
