\nWe require an enthusiastic software developer to join our team to help design, develop and deploy our industry leading software solutions for our growing client base. You will need to be a full stack developer with a broad knowledge of C#, JavaScript and SQL.\n\nYou will need to demonstrate a passion for software development, an ongoing commitment to self-improvement and help drive a positive development culture.\n\nThis role has been newly created to support our existing development effort. You will be working in a small team with a remit of “getting stuff done”! This role should appeal to anyone who loves seeing small projects through, using a wide range of different technologies, and working on a plethora of products.\n\nWorking closely with internal stakeholders, you will be primarily tasked with improving our architectural framework, automated unit test framework, devops processes, internal business processes, enhancing existing technical solutions and removing technical debt. You will also be working on client-orientated features from time to time.\n\nYou must be able to provide technical expertise and guidance to the team throughout the development process to ensure business objectives are met.\n\nYou must also demonstrate a proactive approach to communication to keep the team informed of the development effort and be able to escalate any impediments quickly and efficiently.\n\nYou and your team will be responsible for maintaining high quality through rigorous testing and code reviews. To further ensure quality you will need adhere to and enforce our coding standards and best practices.\n\nEssential Experience/Skills\n\nSignificant web development experience using:\n\n\n* SQL 2008 +\n\n* C# 4.0 +\n\n* HTML & CSS\n\n\n\n\nModern JavaScript development and frameworks\n\n\n* TypeScript or similar JS superset\n\n* JavaScript patterns\n\n* Ideally Polymer or any experience in modern JS front end technology\n\n\n\n\nProficient in Git or TFS source control\n\nA practical understanding of SOLID principles\n\nDesired Experience/Skills\n\n\n* Practical knowledge of different architectures and development methodologies\n\n* Test Automation\n\n* Messaging systems\n\n* Entity Framework 6 / Micro ORMS\n\n* .NET Core\n\n* TFS administration: build and release processes\n\n* JS client side build processes\n\n* REST API design and development\n\n* IIS\n\n* Legacy technologies: Web Forms / Classic ASP\n\n* Dev op practices\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
