You're the expert at creating highly-available databases and planning for scale as we continue to grow. You work with everyone from the technical side to the operations side with endless opportunities to take on responsibility and continue learning.\n\nOur Tech Stack:\n\nPostgreSQL, SQL-Server, Puppet, Ansible, Ruby on Rails, Python, PHP, Elixir, Elasticsearch, Capistrano, Redis, Sidekiq, Vagrant, Apache, Pentaho\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\n\n* Get your hands dirty with database creation, schema alterations, capacity planning, performance analysis and query optimization, among other fun things\n\n* Work with our teams during technical planning to ensure effective and efficient utilization of databases\n\n* Maintain our high security standards by implementing backup and disaster recovery requirements\n\n* Implement and improve scripts that facilitate ETL processes\n\n* Monitor the performance of day-to-day database operations\n\n* Collaborate with our production operations team to write scripts related to monitoring and rollout\n\n* Document everything important you do for our data\n\n\n\n\nAbout You:\n\n\n* 3+ years experience as a Database Administrator\n\n* 1+ years system administration or development experience\n\n* Proven ability to learn new database technologies\n\n* Ability to thrive in a highly creative, collaborative, and dynamic environment\n\n\n
