You will have opportunities to work on challenging projects and build highly scalable web applications and services that drive strategic business initiatives, like multi-channel integration, and Pricing, Promotions, Product Design, Assortment Planning Strategies.\n\nAs an Engineer, you'll take the lead as you…\n* Perform a technical engineering leadership role on various projects within our core Merchandising platform\n* Create innovative solutions that will build and operate on a scale that supports key merchandising strategies\n\n\n* Drive Design, develop, test and deploy software or builds using a variety of development technologies and methodologies\n\n\n* Drive Engineering design throughout the project and platform life-cycle\n* Ensure architectural, infrastructure, operational, and security requirements are met\n* Participate in lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of platforms, applications and infrastructure services\n\n\n* Diagnose, isolate and de-bug software problems and perform problem resolution\n* Drive standards and best practices while collaborating with the team to promote re-use and develop consistent technical build processes\n\n\n* Drive technical quality, stability and scalability of solutions\n\n\n* Generate and preserve intellectual property associated with Merchandising applications\n\nRequirements\n* BA/BS or equivalent experience\n* 5-7 years total work experience\n* Has in-depth knowledge art engineering technical approaches in design, build, testing, debugging problems as required by domain\n* Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise\n* Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education\n\n\nQualified Candidates Will Bring\n* Expertise in Java/J2EE,Agile, Automation, continuous delivery, Restful services, Tomcat, Chef, Jenkins, Automated Testing frameworks(AUT)\n* Working knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns\n* Experience in working with Relational Databases, Cassandra,\n* Working knowledge of web services and other integration patterns\n* Excellent Analytical skills\n* Strong communication skills\n* Exposure to Spring Framework\n* Hands-on experience with WebSphere Application and web severs\n* Experience in building large scale highly available Web Applications\n* Create Engineering Designs\n* Prior experience in the retail space\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
