We're looking for an awesome frontend js dev who knows about drawing in a browser.\nSounds like you? Read on!\n\n** Note**  No agencies/companies/recruiters! we are looking for, and will only respond to individuals who match the below description. \n\n#Seats.io\nWe are a small team of 3 people building an awesome product - reserved seating tools for online ticketing - that grew from a hobby project to a healthy B2B startup with customers all over the globe. Our interactive floor plans are used to book over 500k seats / month.\nWe don't do architecture and project management and we don't blame.\nWe do celebrate wins (even small ones), we take responsibility as a team, and we focus on building.\nIn short, we are product builders pur sang. Needless to say that your role will be key to our continued success.\n#The job\nTime for specifics. Your role would be to help design, build and implement the floor plan designer, as part of the seats.io dev team. That means you'll build stuff that matters.\nThe current stack is mostly raphaeljs + our own code, but we're open to change. We do expect your expert input there.\nOther than that, we firmly believe in the benefits of TDD, use git, feature branches and CI, and expect you to as well. That's unless you're able to convince the team to change, as nothing is set in stone.\nIf you happen to live near the beautiful village of Landen (Belgium) that's awesome. However, we are aware that's a very long shot, so remote is perfectly fine.\nPlease do note we'll only consider candidates who are less than 2 hours time zone difference away from Europe/Brussels, send us a picture of Darth Vader with their application - just so we know you read this -, and have previous experience with working remotely.\nThis is a full-time position, but we're flexible.\nCompensation (salary/rate) tbd.\n#You\n- have killer client-side javascript development skills for desktop & mobile.\n- can programatically draw in a browser (canvas and/or SVG).\n- have experience using clientside MV* frameworks (take your pick).\n- have experience with TDD\n- have an eye for detail, and one for beauty\n- can detect code smells from a mile away\n- have an opinion. We value - and expect! - your thoughts & input.\n- are focused, courageous, open, committed and respectful. Recognize these? :)\n- are fluent in English\n- are located in Europe/Brussels +/- 2 hours.yagJzhkdapAsCMnUw7CpJAMi

👉 Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here!

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. That is a scam! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! When clicking on the button to apply above, you will leave Remote OK and go to the job application page for that company outside this site.
