Do you want to master all of the best automation and monitoring tools on the market, including Chef, puppet, Salt, nagios, new relic, and Docker?\n\nIf so, our team at Calm.io would like to meet you and tell you more about our team and the future of our product. As our Developer Evangelist, you will play a highly visible role working both with our internal leadership and engineering teams, as well as our community of users. \n\nCore responsibilities will include:\n- Create inspiring demos, content (blog posts, tutorials, videos, articles) \n- Deliver talks at events and meetups\n- Help create developer tools and libraries\n- Run workshops and meetups for developers\n- Share your experiences with the leadership team\n- Visit customers, helping them get the best from the platform\n- Monitor and provide assistance on forums and social channels\n- Build relationships with developers in the wider community\n\nRequired skills: \n5+ years experience as a Software or Operations Engineer\nAbility to set and manage own goals\nExperience with cloud services such as AWS, vCenter, rackspace or OpenStack\nConfident presenter and interest in creating content and attending meetups/conferences\nUndergraduate degree in computer science or similar\n\nDesirable: \nExperience with organizing and running meet-ups or other events, and creating a community around a topic or technology\nExperience in multiple programming languages (Ruby, Python, Java or C/C++)\nContributor to open source projects \n\n#Salary and compensation\n$100,000 — $150,000/year\n \n\n#Equity\n0.1 - 0.3\n\n\n#Location\nSouth Bay/peninsula
