Working side-by-side with Product Owners, Quality Assurance Engineers, and Business Stakeholders, our Engineers are actively involved in the complete software and BI development life cycle in an agile environment including technical design, hands-on coding, unit testing, performance tuning, maintenance, test automation and deploys upgrades.\n\n\n\nThe highly motivated BI Developer is a key player in building and continually enhancing the business intelligence platform with a drive to deliver innovative and advanced HR analytics solutions. This technical developer will be responsible for developing using a multitude of cutting-edge technologies, while desgining, coding and maintaining both back end and front end BI products to serve our external and internal customer needs.\n\nResponsibilities and accountabilities:\n\n\n* Committed to understanding the various data sources and modeling efficient and scalable reporting marts.\n\n* Responsible for data mapping and moving data (ETL, ELT) from source to target.\n\n* Ability to research and present modern BI trends and their influence on business.\n\n* Validate existing systems for data integrity, quality and accuracy and recommends improvements.\n\n* Actively participate on the Developers Community of Practice by driving new ideas, ingenuity and technologies.\n\n* Proven experience working on a team in a collaborative environment with a willingness to share ideas and an ability to complete tasks with high quality\n\n* Continuously improve technical skills through training, seminars, webinars and self-directed research / investigation\n\n* Demonstrated ability to be accountable and show ownership of a flagship product\n\n* Hard work, grit, gumption, determination and passion are a must!\n\n* Be an active participant in backlog grooming sessions, sprint demos and retrospectives\n\n* Demonstrate enthusiasm and desire to work closely with principal engineers, developers, SMEs, QA engineers, product owners, business owners and product stakeholders on a day to day basis to get the job done. \n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
