Become part of an IT team of 12 developers, business analysts, project managers, etc who support a company of 80 team members with industry-leading web applications in areas of continuing education, candidate screening, and much more.\n\nABOUT THE POSITION\n\nWe are seeking an extremely detailed and personable Web Application QA Analyst/Engineer to conduct and manage the testing of our web applications.\n\n\n* Full-time, salaried position\n\n* Regular hours are Mon-Fri 8a-5p Eastern or Central time\n\n* Work from your home office\n\n* Company-provided MacBook Pro and internet service stipend\n\n* Must be located in the United States and legally eligible to work in the US.\n\n* Travel is required for an annual company meeting (which is a lot of fun), and may be required a handful of times for team or project meetings\n\n\n\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Test web and mobile application releases on a day-to-day and project-by-project basis.\n\n* Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for each project release.\n\n* Develop/implement automated test strategy and scripts.\n\n* Attend regular status meetings and deliver updates on testing progress.\n\n* Assist stakeholders in keeping application specifications accurate and up to date.\n\n* Work with IT Developers to improve automated testing where possible.\n\n* Work with project sponsors and product owners to improve daily testing regimens to ensure the websites are functioning at an optimal level.\n\n* Analyze documented defects to identify root cause and impact on related functions or product features.\n\n* Identify and mitigate risks / issues related to testing.\n\n* Suggest improvements, best practices, and new approaches to testing workflow (your voice will be heard).\n\n\n\n\nWe prefer a great/interested/excited tester with less experience to an unmotivated or unengaged tester with tons of experience.\n\nTO APPLY\n\nIn your cover letter please include a description of the last couple of projects you’ve QA’d and your specific role in those projects, a link to your favorite movie clip on YouTube, and your salary requirements.
