With more than 200 people across our offices in New York, San Francisco, and in sales offices around the globe, we’re dedicated to our trailblazing mission—enriching consumer experiences and informing business decisions with location intelligence. \n\nAbout the Position:\n\nFoursquare is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to work alongside our Business Development team. The TAM will work closely with developers and partners in China and Asia-Pacific in effectively using Foursquare data via APIs and SDKs to identify location opportunity, and will best take advantage of our industry-leading location cloud platform and all its components. The Asia Business Development team is an agile team that has secured several large-data licensing contracts with renowned brands in the tech, consumer products, and marketing industries.You will leverage your expertise in data, location services and the mobile industry to understand Foursquare’s data & solutions, and help our clients in Asia scale globally with unique solutions that fit their needs. In order to be successful, you will manage multiple clients simultaneously while working closely with key internal stakeholders in Asia and US. Your work will play a crucial part in generating company revenue & ensuring partner success.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n\n\n* Be both highly technical and effectively act as a true partner of our clients.\n\n* Work together with Business Development team to define and execute on strategy to drive partner success.\n\n* Work with regional and local teams to translate solution ideas into feasible technical solutions\n\n* Enable Foursquare’s partners to be successful by serving as the primary technical point of contact with data partners in the pre-sales, implementation and post-sales phases\n\n* Be a subject matter technical expert, and have influence and support of partners and internal teams at Foursquare.\n\n* Build relationships with strategic partners in order to ensure their ongoing success working with Foursquare.\n\n* Manage relationship with technical contacts (including high-profile tech companies) and contact them pro-actively when there are new ideas or features or opportunities that could be relevant to them\n\n* Work cross-functionally with Foursquare business development & technical teams in Asia and America\n\n* Be the technical voice in the room when coming up with creative solutions to meet our partners’ needs.\n\n* Interact with and support our broader community of thousands of developers using the Foursquare API.\n\n* Ultimately help Foursquare successfully acquire more long-term data & technology customers\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
