This role is integral in establishing the Hotjar blog as a trusted source for knowledge in online business growth.\n \nWe’re looking for exceptional candidates with a proven track-record of communicating advanced marketing methods like CRO, web analytics, growth and UX design to an intelligent audience of readers and web professionals. Experience in sourcing, editing and building thought leadership content on the aforementioned topics is a requirement for consideration. This is a 100% remote position.\n\n \n\nIn this role you will:\n\n\nWork directly with our CEO to create and edit remarkable thought leadership content on our blog\n\nCreate exceptional evergreen content that educates readers on how to adopt and apply Hotjar’s proven methods for business growth\n\nManage and own the growth of Hotjar’s blog subscriber base\n\nCollaborate with Hotjar’s Customer Success team to generate content that solves the problems our users face\n\nCreate and analyze ongoing user surveys to understand and solve the challenges of our evolving user base\n\nContinuously evaluate Hotjar’s content performance based on analytics and reader feedback to assist in building and improving our content roadmap\n\nWork with the marketing team on developing innovative, (dare we say) groundbreaking marketing campaigns that deliver on the expectations of our highly informed and knowledge-hungry user community\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\nMust have 5+ years experience and a proven track-record in writing excellent thought leadership material for brand awareness and content marketing\n\nMust be an exceptional written and verbal communicator\n\nWillingness to share work samples demonstrating your ability to build extraordinary content on topics like UX and CRO\n\nWorking knowledge of analytics, testing tools and other marketing technology software\n\nWorking knowledge of Hotjar (or similar user insights software) is preferred\n\nPositive and outgoing persona. You will be the voice of Hotjar to hundreds of thousands of readers\n\nMust be comfortable working in a 100% remote, global and agile environment\n\nAbility to work independently - accountable for your own actions and able to act with both urgency and integrity\n\nMust submit to a background check confidentially processed by our third party
