We’re a small team of software developers and designers, responsible for a wide variety of applications and services. Every day we’re presented with new ideas and new opportunities which our team approaches using an agile mindset. So if you’re a senior full stack web developer that can help us grow our team and appreciates working on a wide range of projects, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nWhat we expect\n\nAs a senior full stack web developer, you’ve got at least 5 years of experience working on the web. Specifically, we’re looking for candidates that:\n\n\n* Have a solid understanding of how the web works, and are familiar with every layer of the web, from networking, to application, to database\n\n* Keep up to date, and love playing with the latest technologies and frameworks\n\n* Understand and have practiced data modeling, from concept to implementation\n\n* Have mastered object-oriented programming and can apply it to how they design data structures and systems\n\n* Have employed modern design and architecture patterns, like dependency injection, pub/sub, MVC, and microservices\n\n* Are not tied to any particular framework or system (though they might have preferences) and are always on the lookout for new ways of doing things\n\n\n\n\n As this is a senior position, we’re also expecting candidates that:\n\n\n* Have experience mentoring more junior developers\n\n* Consider themselves to be great communicators, to both developers and stakeholders\n\n* Have a proven track record of success working in an agile environment\n\n\n\n\nHow we build software\n\nOur product design and software development processes are grounded in Agile principles and informed by LEAN Startup and SCRUM methodologies:\n\n\n* We put our customers at the center of every decision - life is way too short to build something nobody wants\n\n* We design and build to learn, then we build to scale - experimentation and learning are central to our approach\n\n* We measure our results and test our assumptions - data informs our decision making, not the loudest person in the room\n\n* We're constantly learning and growing as individuals and as a team - a growth mindset and strong drive for continuous improvement is a must\n\n\n\n\nOur tech stack and tooling is pretty awesome, but we’re always looking for ways to improve:\n\n\n* We use SQL Server as our data store, accessed through Entity Framework.\n\n* On the back end, we’re using .NET Core.\n\n* On the front end, we’re using React.js.\n\n\n\n\nWe've been leveraging virtualized environments since the early 2000's, but in 2017 we'll be moving to the cloud by:\n\n\n* Embracing DevOps as a discipline\n\n* Defining our infrastructure as code\n\n* Migrating from monoliths to microservices\n\n* Running our apps in containers\n\n* Automating our entire process\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo Apply\n\nIn addition to your resume, please submit a cover letter explaining why you are interested in the company, the position, and software development in general.
