\nWHO YOU ARE\n\nDo you enjoy simplifying challenging, technical solutions to solve multiple needs? \n\nAre you a technology evangelist, connecting people who have problems with the right solutions, technology, and knowledge they need to succeed? \n\nDo you possess a skill to effectively educate resources of the technical and non-technical benefits that drive next-generation infrastructure? \n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\nAt Datapipe, our Platform Engineering Team supports our global team of Customer Delivery Engineering, Product Engineering, and Support and Operations to:\n\n\n* Eradicate duplicative effort and create consistency in software wherever possible through:\n\n\n* Automation design, templating, common library development\n\n* Process engineering, best practices development\n\n* Platform evangelism to build up support for a given technology\n\n\n\n\n\n* Be actively involved in strategizing how to leverage automation and DevOps for Datapipe’s clients\n\n* Contribute to refining and improving Datapipe’s processes around award-winning customer service, development and deployments\n\n* Stay current on technology advancements to evaluate new technology, techniques and tools to improve the overall Datapipe engineering platform \n\n\n\n\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:\n\n\n* Three + years as a software developer with an expertise in designing and developing web services for scalable and complex systems\n\n* Three + years managing, diagnosing and debugging matrixed problems across multiple disciplines (DevOps):\n\n\n* Applications\n\n* Infrastructure\n\n* Databases\n\n\n\n\n\n* Deep understanding of various architecture types\n\n\n* Publish / Subscribe\n\n* Microservices\n\n* Service-oriented\n\n* Client / Server\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* Proven experience running Docker in HA production environments\n\n* Experience with one or more of Kubernetes, Vault, Yeoman, Kafka or similar technologies\n\n* Experience in 2 or more of Node.js, Python, Golang, Java, Ruby\n\n* Experience in delivering API based microservices\n\n* Experience with one or more configuration management tools and how to leverage them within application management and deployment processes\n\n* Proven experience in leveraging automation and testing toolsets to improve release times and quality\n\n* Ability to design and implement new technologies where little documentation exists\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
