Talynt is an software development agency based out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. We take complex problems and make simple and actionable solutions for people to put to work. We accomplish this by building custom software, web apps, mobile apps, websites, and marketing strategies for our clients.\nWe are hiring a full time remote project manager. Only apply if you,\n\n1) Are available for full time work\n2) Speak perfect English\n3) Can work 9-6pm EST time each weekday\n\nJOB DESCRIPTION\n\nThe technical project manager sets and manages project expectations and serves as a liaison between clients and our internal team. A large part of this role is account management-developing relationships with clients to understand their ongoing development needs. \n\n- Technically scopes projects in the pre-sales stage, creating a project plan that includes key points as deliverables, stakeholders, timeline, resourcing and review process\n- Transitions projects from the sales to project phases, ensuring clients are onboarded and comfortable with our process and practices\n- Tracks key deliverables using project plans, timelines and status updates\n- Monitors project budgets and specifications to ensure projects are within scope\n- Writes weekly status reports, conducts regular status calls if requested or follow-up calls as needed\n- Runs stand-up meetings when necessary to ensure internal team is on track and understands immediate and future needs\n- Ensures all parties are happy with final work product and brings the project to a close by transferring project ownership and closing the project\n- Schedules and moderates project retrospective meetings with clients and internal team to ensure betterment of project processes and practices\n- Grows business with existing clients by active communication and discovery of upcoming needs\n- Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.ย \n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n- Manage projects and client relationships - planning, prioritizing and managing deliverables for multiple projects with parallel timelines while balancing the different needs and opinions of many different people\n- Lead dynamic teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and collaborative environment while keeping everyone accountable for tasks, deadlines and communications\n- Use project management tools including or similar to Jira, Airtable, Basecamp, Asana\n- Experience with Kanban / agile / scrum methodologies.\n- Software development lifecycle, application deployment and information systems planning experience.\n- Write and communicate clearly and effectively with our U.S. based clients\n- Handle conflict and construct and propose rational solutions\n- Talk the talk when it comes to software development, having a genuine and proactive interest in roadmap strategy, project mgmt., and improving our clientsโ businesses.\n\nEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:\n\n- Bachelorโs Degree in related field or combination of education and experience in a business discipline (HR, Finance, Computer Science, MIS, and Project Management).
