\nWho we are\n\nBuzzBird is the #1 platform for influencer marketing automation. We connect branded companies and social media influencers, and in order to progress further, we’re looking for front-end engineers (m/f/other) to work with Javascript/React.\n\nWhat you’ll be dealing with\n\n\n* The stack is functional, however there exists almost no legacy code since we’ve thus far been rewriting the front-end (in PHP) step by step with each new feature.\n\n* To do so, we use a state of the art Javascript development process loaded on a component basis, along with linting, guidelines and tests.\n\n* The stack is comprised of React and Redux on an ES2015 basis. The most essential modules are: react-intl, redux-form, ImmutableJS. You should be familiar with these.\n\n* For the front-end workflow we rely on: SCSS, SVG, Gulp and Webpack.\n\n* We run tests using AVA / Enzyme and Nightwatch.\n\n* We squash merges in GIT. You should be able to resolve conflicts that may arise.\n\n* The work is in the field of social media / marketing (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook,…) – So you should have at least a slight interest in this area.\n\n\n\n\nWe’re currently seeking multiple engineers. When it comes to team setup, we’re looking for senior level full time employees. What’s of utmost importance is that you possess a strong command of React and Redux, are able to begin on short notice and have a moderate availability.\n\nHow to proceed\n\nIf the stack and the circumstances work for you, you can apply directly by sending your application to [email protected]\n\nApplication Checklist: \n\n\n* Brief résumé: Who are you? What have you worked on so far? Using which technology?\n\n* Tell us about your project experience with React and Redux!\n\n* Have you ever contributed to Open Source Projects?\n\n* Your conditions: What’s your idea of an ideal salary?\n\n* Your approximate availability and how many days per week you’d like to work and from where you want to work.\n\n* And most importantly: When can you start?\n\n\n\n\nMeeting in person:\n\nIf your preferences and formal skills fit the profile, we’ll meet in person. Preferably face to face, if you live in Berlin. Otherwise we can first conduct a Skype interview and invite you to come to Berlin afterwards.\n\nOnboarding:\n\nOnce we’ve agreed upon your conditions and everything else suits both sides, you’ll receive 1-2 weeks of boot camp training on-site here in Berlin (we’ll bear the costs).  Afterwards you’ll be able to work from wherever you like. We communicate using Slack and Trello. If you live in Berlin, you’re free to work in the office, as well.
