Front Row is a small, lean, early stage (series A), tight-knit education technology company of about 15 people that has a history of hiring folks who are able to get a lot done with few resources. In just a few years we went from one classroom to being used in 30% of US schools by over 3 million students. Our mission is important to us, and we're looking to hire competent, professional and driven self-starters to join our team.\n\nWe're looking for a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for designing and developing applications and distributed systems for the Front Row ecosystem in Haskell, Flow, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Ansible and many others. The role would involve bringing best practices to Front Row engineering, mentoring junior developers, and the option to move into a Tech Lead position (if youโre interested). \n\nWe're one of the few companies in the world built on a purely functional stack and, as an engineer here, you will get to work on your deliverable end-to-end, from the UX to the deployment logic. Weโre also a major steward of the Haskell open source community, shaping the direction of the language and the up-and-coming ecosystem for years to come.\n\nExtra tags: functional programming, Haskell \n\nPlease mention the words **SMOKE STOOL FEDERAL** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMTguMjE4LjEyOS4xMDA=).
