\nA dynamic IT services company based in central Bristol with a proud history of over 25 years serving local, national and international companies is looking for an exceptionally talented software developer to join our team of world class software engineers.\n\nYou will join a team of world class developers, some working from home and some working in our new office in Bristol, where a flat a management structure means everyone’s views and work is important and rapid progress is the name of the game. We recognise that our growth is linked directly with our developers’ skills growth and encourage everyone to try new technologies, with a training budget which is available to anyone who thinks improving their skills will enhance their performance.\n\nIn order to hit the ground running you’ll need to have most of the following skills:\n\n\n* T-SQL (SQL Server administration is not important, although useful)\n\n* C# experience is essential; useful if you also know Visual Basic\n\n* MVC3+/Razor; if you know these then you should also speak HTML + CSS\n\n* WCF\n\n* Javascript\n\n\n\n\nOur existing developers are masters of the above as well as related technologies such as ASP.Net, jQuery, CSS, .Net Win Forms and Services, AJAX, LINQ, WCF and WPF, and Crystal Reports. If you have any of these skills then so much the better otherwise there is considerable scope to learn and expand your skill set.\n\nIf you join us you’ll be working on a wide range of client projects, primarily web-based using the Microsoft ASP.NET/IIS/MSSQL technology stack, but also some 3-tier desktop enterprise application development. This work includes new development projects as well as maintaining existing and legacy systems. Occasional stakeholder interaction on most projects is required. Larger projects may involve working in a small team, but primarily our developers are solely responsible for the success and delivery of the projects on which they work. There are also in-house projects, consisting of bespoke development tools (to which all developers contribute) and software to assist in the day-to-day IT support business in which the company engages.\n\nIf the above sounds like an interesting challenge then you can expect a generous starting salary of between £30K to £50K or more, and higher than industry average annual performance related pay rise. If you have some or all of the above skills with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant environment with an ambition of becoming a world class developer then you are invited to apply for this position which is waiting for someone like you. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
