\nWe’re OK GROW!, a web and mobile consultancy working for clients both big and small. We have an office in Toronto but we have a remote work culture.\n\nThe position\n\nThis is a lead engineer position. You will lead the development of a Rails app that is already being used at scale and continuing to grow.\n\nYou're organized and pay attention to details. You have deep experience with Ruby and SQL, plus a solid foundation in computer science principles. You are experienced in or highly motivated to learn TDD, and are an expert in your tools/IDE of choice. Experience with AWS and/or scaling Rails apps is a plus (we do lots of both). And your working hours need to overlap with the east coast of North America.\n\nYou'll work with a small but growing team and an experienced founder who are known in the Ruby and startup communities in Toronto.\n\nHow to apply\n\nIf you want us to get in touch then please tell us about yourself and why you'd be a great choice for this position. Please include your GitHub account and links to other things you've made or written online. For extra consideration you can give us a brief description of a technique for managing data that has outgrown a single database.\n\nWe're looking forward to hearing from you!\n\n(No recruiters or agencies please.)
