\nYou'll be the most experienced Scala developer on a small team handling the beta of new business-oriented service. We have an existing Playframework 2.4-based code base. You'll work with the original author fixing bugs and responding to feedback as we onboard our first customers.\n\nAs our most experienced Scala developer, you will be expected to help some of the newer Scala developers on the team get up to speed from time to time.\n\nAfter the beta period, you'll help lead the effort to build a new, cleaner version of our service, and eventually replace the Playframework version with this cleaner version.\n\nWe don't offer a lot in the way of foosball tables, nerf guns, or team-building retreats. We do offer a high degree of technical and practical autonomy. Write clean, functional code from anywhere in the world, on a schedule that suits you. Control the technical direction of the projects you work on.\n\nHave ideas for your own projects but no time to work on them off the clock? Pitch to us and you could end up working on your dream start-up project with the security of a steady established company wage. \n\nInclude a link to some Scala code you've written along with your application.
