\nWe are currently seeking a Sr. QA Engineer to: test browser based software, encourage best practices, implement automation, and document system defects while working closely with developers and stakeholders. Informz provides competitive compensation and excellent benefits.\n\nCore Responsibilities\n\n\n* Understand our client's fast-moving business requirements\n\n* Negotiate appropriate solutions with multiple stake-hold\n\n* Coordinate the work efforts of Engineers and Analysts in the execution of testing efforts\n\n* Review product specifications and work with others to develop appropriate test strategies and detailed test plans and test architectures\n\n* Lead formal reviews of test plans, designs and requirements documents with cross-functional teams\n\n* Help establish best practices and methods for refining existing methodologies \n\n* Architect, implement and manage automated suites of black box testing, white box testing, user acceptance testing, and maintenance regression testing\n\n* Lead defect management and maintenance\n\n* Lead documentation reviews during product release cycle to ensure quality and comprehensive product documentation\n\n* Automate tests using available and open-source tools and technologies\n\n* Understand and script using languages like: Perl, Python, SQL, and JavaScript (node)\n\n* Posses a high comfort level in terminal and other shell related environments \n\n* Learn and employ automation tools that leverage Selenium or an equivalent technology\n\n* Evaluate testing and inspection plans for projects of varying technology, complexity, and size\n\n* Develop and document test scripts, test cases, defect tracking and reports\n\n* Create and maintain manual and/or automated test scripts, test data, and other deliverables related to the software quality assurance (SQA) process\n\n* Review log files and other run-time documentation for defects and issues\n\n* Analyze the results of software tests and provide results for use in development code inspections and group reviews of project deliverables\n\n* Detect, document, and track system defects throughout the SQA process\n\n* Under direction of product management, participate in user acceptance testing\n\n* Perform maintenance regression testing\n\n* Some travel required\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
