\nBNY Mellon’s Innovation Center Silicon Valley (ICSV) seeks an experienced security architect to join our quickly growing team. BNY Mellon is the world’s leading provider of financial services technology, delivered from BXP, BNY Mellon private cloud. The Principal Security Architect will develop and implement global security architecture solutions using formal risk management methodologies.\n\nHelp us revolutionize global financial services!\n\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n\n* Define security architecture for our internal enterprise platform (BXP)\n\n* Lead, design, plan and implement rick mitigating security solutions\n\n* Identify inter-dependencies of different technologies deployed within our internal enterprise platform (BXP) and the security relevance\n\n* Work closely with development teams to guide security direction and solutions alignment with industry best practices\n\n* Advice on data security issues, compliance, and privacy requirements including, but not limited to; FEDRAMP, HIPPA, PCI, and EU Data Protection Directive\n\n* Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud security and associated compliance initiatives within the organization\n\n* Perform security design reviews to assess security implications for introduction of new or differing technologies within the environment\n\n* Research the latest security best practices, staying abreast of new threats and vulnerabilities and helping to disseminate this information within the company\n\n* Be a public evangelist for cloud security best practices\n\n\n\n\nPrincipal Architect, Information Security->> Develops and implements global security architecture solutions using formal risk management methodologies. Develops information security architecture to enforce security requirements and address identified risks. Works with other IT staff to ensure design achieves both business and technical requirements.Evaluates vendor products for security capabilities. Remains current on IT Security/Architecture trends. Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred 10-12 years of experience in information security or related technology experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
