Our goal is to make our browser-based sales and service portals easier and more effective to interact with on Farmers.com and we need your help.\n\nThe Digital Engineering Team is still young, meaning you’ll be instrumental in standing up and leading this team while driving our technology strategies. Yes, we’re still following the Waterfall methodology, and our current products rely on legacy systems, but we’re changing all of that and starting fresh!\n\nIn short, we offer all the spirit and excitement of a startup, backed by solid financial results from one of the most respected names in our industry.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\n\n\n* Help drive our organizations’ Agile transformation\n\n\n\n\n\n* Evolve existing online quoting, billing, and claims portals to enhance customer experience while maintaining legacy system functionality.\n\n* Assess current technology landscape and recommend future technology to meet Farmers’ strategic goals.\n\n* Develop Rich Internet Applications and detailed system design/programming specifications for projects like how our customers look up/pay their bills, get new quotes, and submit claims.\n\n* Perform systems analysis, modular design, and create APIs\n\n\n
