We are shaping the mortgage industry with our Valuation and Technology delivery prowess. We we need another super smart DevOps Engineer in our Linux production environment to grow.\n\nYou will be a critical member of a small engineering team working to solve real customer problems and building top tier solutions. This isn’t your normal position where you may be relegated to one small piece of the company’s technology, or a project that doesn’t matter. Instead, you will be instrumental and have the chance to work in many areas of our system.\n\nReporting to the Director of IT Operations, the Sr. Systems Engineer will provide Linux systems support and administration to Clear Capital’s internal and external clients. You will use your strong Linux skills to deliver systems and services for project teams. You will collaborate with and support development teams operating in accordance with Agile development methods. You will leverage configuration management and orchestration software to accelerate and harden the administrative duties performed on in-house and cloud hosted systems.\n\nWhat does a typical day look like? Hardly typical but here is what we have in mind.\n\n\n* Work on various system projects related to Linux, service, and application support\n\n* Administer Amazon Web Services hosted environments\n\n* Creation and maintenance of Bash, Perl, and PHP scripts\n\n* Writing, executing, and maintaining Ansible playbooks\n\n* Work on escalated issues before involving the Senior Engineering team\n\n* System administration in support of a Linux infrastructure\n\n* Build, enhance, and maintain systems and software\n\n* Document processes, troubleshooting processes, and solutions to share with other team\n\n* members\n\n* Monitoring and responding to alerts\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
