A QA Engineer brings technical expertise, user focus and an investigative mindset to improve product quality at Testlauncher. They have a passion for learning and developing new skills, while working closely with production and client teams throughout the product lifecycle. They plan methodically, act proactively and scrutinize relentlessly to ensure our products meet exacting standards of usability, functionality and polish.\n\nRequirements (What you bring): \n* An aptitude for software testing and a passion for shipping quality products \n* Experience testing scalable cloud applications and/or enterprise-grade web applications across modern web and mobile technologies \n* Familiarity with scrum, agile and lean product development methodologies \n* Exceptional exploratory testing skills \n* Strong expertise with UI automation frameworks on web and mobile platforms \n* Practical skills in performance testing and monitoring across APIs, web and mobile applications \n* Experience developing test strategies, test plans, effort estimates and schedules \n* An ability to juggle testing on multiple projects at different stages in their development cycle \n* Organizational rigour to keep issue tracking systems triaged, monitored and updated \n* Expertise with troubleshooting and debugging problems \n* Excellent written, verbal and .gif-based communication skills \n* A passion for ongoing education, with a desire to learn new skills and approaches to software testing \n* Attention to details; please include your favourite Star Wars character in your cover letter \n* A keen interest in emerging design and technology trends \n* A desire to shape a cross-discipline product testing practice that is driven by growth, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to product quality\n\nExtra Credit: \n* Practical skills with testing non-functional requirements \n* Experience with Jira, ATDD or BDD tools and frameworks \n* Competency in assessing the strengths and weaknesses of business models \n* Proven expertise in UX research and usability testing\n\nThis position is remote, contract and part-time position (possibly leading to full-time for the right candidate).\n\nWe may hire multiple testers at this time.\n\nExtra tags: remote, contract, part-time, QA testing, mobile testing \n\nPlease mention the words **DRY BROKEN DESERT** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMy44My44Ny45NA==).
