Hey there! We are EVELO, an electric bike eCommerce startup! We are a rapid growing company with a distributed team all around the US, Canada, Brazil & Argentina, and we are looking for a part-time or full-time marketing specialist who lives and breathes growth.\n\n**What will the day-to-day be like?**\n\nOn a day-to-day basis, you'll be working closely with Boris, the CEO; Gonzalo, our Director of Marketing, and Fabio, our Front-end Designer. You'll be an important part of a three person growth team tasked with growing EVELO.\n\nYou'll spend most of the time brainstorming growth experiments, researching outreach opportunities and executing on those. And by executing, I mean anything from:\n\n*researching potential outreach opportunities (guest posts, interviews, follow up articles, guides, link placements, etc)\n*drafting an email pitch and sending it to the appropriate people.\n*research and execute link building opportunities for us.\n*brainstorm potential marketing initiatives, and growth experiments.\n*networking with potential collaborators.\n*brainstorm a promotion for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.\n*drafting a few email & subjects in Mailchimp to *announce and test that promotion.\n*write copy for a landing page.\n*implement A/B experiments in Optimizely.\n*check our analytics to find opportunities.\n*and much, much more!\n\nAs we mentioned before, you'll be working closely with a team, but we try to minimize meetings so you have huge, uninterrupted chunks of time to get your best work done. Also, there are no set hours. You are encourage to work when & where you are happy and feel the most productive!\n\n**REQUIREMENTS**\n\nWe aren't looking for any marketing guy.\n\nWe are looking for someone who knows how everything works, but has deep knowledge and experience with SEO, content outreach/promotion and copywriting.\n\nYou should be able to identify opportunities for EVELO (guest posts, interviews, follow up articles, guides, link placements, etc), craft a compelling pitch, and perform the necessary outreach to get it done.\n\nIn more detail, this is what you need:\n\n*You need to love what you do, have opinions, work well in a team, and get excited about marketing & growth. \n*Have a solid and up to date understanding of best practices, developments and trends in web and eCommerce.\n*Have working knowledge of most marketing channels (PPC, Facebook, Social Media, Email Marketing), with a strong understanding and experience of SEO & content (promotion and copywriting).\n*Have experience working remotely with tools like Slack, Skype, Trello, Optimizely, Google Analytics, Shopify, Mailchimp & Wordpress.\n*Be able to successfully deliver a project within deadline.\n*A solid understanding of conversion best practices, A/B testing, and growth.\n*Bonus: a great sense of design & UX, and enough to be dangerous with HTML/CSS.\n\n**BENEFITS**\n**Competitive salary**: based on experience.\n**Equity**: once you move to a full-time position.\n**Flexible hours**: Work when you’re most productive\n**Work remotely**: Work from wherever you want in the world (Argentina, anyone?)\n**Work in a profitable company, with an amazing team.**\n\nExtra tags: marketing, growth, outreach, content
