The success of ALEX has exceeded our wildest work-related dreams, which is why we need a talented Director of Technology, CloudOps & SRE to help us.\n\nHow you'll help\n\nAs a Director of Technology, CloudOps & SRE you’ll lead a team of talented engineers in designing, building, and delivering our suite of products.\n\nWhat you'll do\n\n\n* Lead the build and operations of our DevOps, Cloud and Technology Operations services\n\n* Deliver on our commitment on Continuous Delivery with lean development processes, and easy to use pipelines, & tools\n\n* Drive modern cloud-native, K8s, & serverless technologies\n\n* Maintain a secure & sustainable environment for Developers to deliver continuously & safely\n\n* Leverage industry best practices & standards to drive the right mix of toolchain for Jellyvision. Recommend opportunities to build/buy.\n\n* Enable agile delivery by ensuring architecture of Products & Platforms are built with active collaboration with Product Delivery teams.\n\n\n* Ensure technology choices are enablers of agile delivery\n\n* Work with the product delivery teams to develop and evolve the architecture\n\n\n\n\n\n* Drive the technology strategy so we build core capabilities to support Product & Business goals.\n\n\n* Look ahead to business goals and infer & plan for technology capabilities we need to be able deliver on the long-term goals and plan the architectural runway.\n\n* Most critically, you will need to show the options and value of these investments and help the broader Operations leadership team guide appropriate & timely investments.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Be the tech visionary through the product planning & delivery lifecycle.\n\n\n* Help Product navigate tech pitfalls, ensuring we are seamlessly contracting and planning with vendors / partners / customers\n\n* Partners with product teams to achieve business outcomes within our technology ecosystem\n\n* Be the technology partner to mesh the Product ask with the right technologies & the right teams to deliver the outcomes most effectively.\n\n* Lastly you need to be able advice Product about the investments & resources needed during planning so we can make right Product decisions that lead to high quality and high value products\n\n\n\n\n\n* Coach Lead engineers, Product Managers, & Engineering Managers in navigating impact of technology decisions on teams, product, and business outcomes.\n\n\n* Work with Engineering Managers to plan for gaps in skillset & capabilities in the larger technology organization\n\n* Coach other team members in architecture skills and thinking through mentoring, finding opportunities to pair with others, and even running education sessions\n\n\n\n\n\n* Minimize complexity to deliver value\n\n\n* Plan for change realistically and make changes in a controlled way\n\n* Know when to say "no”\n\n* Look for better alternatives if proposed changes creates problems or more complexity\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExperience & skills you'll need\n\nMinimum required:\n\n\n* Experience in implementing scalable solutions for complex business requirements.\n\n* Ability to drive requirements, design, architecture & development for modern, cloud native applications\n\n* History of leading successful technology integration projects\n\n* Experience with building Data Analytics, & data integration platforms\n\n* Healthcare Industry experience preferable\n\n\n\n\nSkills:\n\n\n* Business Insight\n\n* Organizational Savvy\n\n* Cultivates Innovation\n\n* Decision Quality\n\n* Strategic Mindset\n\n* Develops Talent\n\n\n\n\nAnything else?\n\nOur credo is a simple one: be helpful.
