You don't need a decade of experience but you must have a natural talent and passion for coding and enthusiasm to grow as a developer.\n\nAs an early addition to the growing IT team you will be helping to build our next generation of systems from the ground up.\n\nYou will have autonomy and responsibility over the code that you write and help guide the software architecture and platforms to sustain today and tomorrow's growing business needs.\n\nThe people we want to speak to…\n\n\n* Have had experience using Rails to build responsive apps and RESTful[ish] APIs.\n\n* Use an agile approach to development.\n\n* Know how to write testable code and when to apply tests and when not to.\n\n* Have a pragmatic approach to building solutions to problems, knowing when to hack or when to craft.\n\n* Can communicate effectively with users.\n\n* Are team players that can adapt from cutting code to resolving a user support issue.\n\n* Must be results oriented and able to provide deliverables to deadlines.\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Responsibilities and Essential Functions: \n\n\n* Build responsive applications and API’s\n\n* Provide onsite and remote support to users across a number of regions\n\n* Help manage and scale the growing number of Linux instances\n\n* Automate everything that should be automated\n\n* Participate in code reviews\n\n* Work with the Director of Software Engineering and IT in designing and delivering the next generation of business solutions\n\n\n\n\nBonus Points:\n\n\n* Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS\n\n* DevOps, Chef\n\n* HA, load balancing, etc.\n\n* When applying, please include any details of your community contributions, such as github or stack overflow accounts.\n\n\n\n\nWhat Else?
