About Argent\n\nArgent aims to be cryptoโ€™sย definingย company: the first to bring the benefits of self-custody to a global audience. Giving people control of their assets and identity, and helping them to enjoy new economic opportunities.\n\nTo do this weโ€™ve built the first smart wallet. Asย different from traditional wallets as smart phones were to 90โ€™s phones. Argent is easier, safer,ย cheaper, and greener.\n\nAs a company, weโ€™ve raised aย $40m Series Bย fromย Paradigm,ย Index Venturesย andย Creandum, putting us in a strong financial position with 4 years of runway.\n\nWe work remotely across Europe, prioritizing autonomy and flexibility. And itโ€™s a particularly exiciting time to join as weโ€™re preparing to launch breakthrough new products on Starknet.\n\nโ€œwe need wide adoptionโ€ of wallets like Argent (Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum co-Founder)\nAbout the Platform Team\n\nThe Platform team is building and operating a set of services interacting with the blockchain and supporting our client applications. You will analyze Product โ€œPitchesโ€, architect solutions, and work with the team to estimate and plan the delivery cycles, staying ahead of technological and ecosystem developments that can have an impact in the way we work and operate our service. Youโ€™ll also provide Level 2 support to our Customer Support teams when technical expertise is required to solve a case.\nYour experience should include:\n\n\n* 5+ years experience as a software engineer developing cloud-native solutions\n\n* Strong computer science, security and networking fundamentals\n\n* Java (Spring Boot, J2EE) expertise\n\n* Deploying, monitoring and scaling apps in a production environment\n\n* Devops and cloud infrastructure management experience on AWS\n\n* A test driven development approach to deliver high quality code\n\n\n\nYou might also have:\n\n\n* Blockchain experience\n\n* API design, management and security\n\n* Working with data at scale (data engineering pipelines, serverless, etc.)\n\n* Open source software and contributions\n\n\n\nWhat youโ€™ll love about Argent:\n\n๐ŸŒ Work anywhere in Europe. The best part? No commute!\n\n๐Ÿง˜ Work flexibly and autonomously. For one week every quarter we meet in person as a company to explore new solutions and to have fun. So far weโ€™ve stayed in Nice, Toulouse, Brussels, Lisbon and Barcelona. Ideas for our upcoming trips are welcome!\n\n๐Ÿ‘ถ Generous parental leave.\n\n๐Ÿ’ป Equipment - tech setup of your choice.\n\n๐Ÿค™ Build a new industry with us, defining the future of the web\nOur Values:\n\nYou can find more information on each of our values here.\nEqual Opportunity Statement:\n\nHere at Argent, we want to build a definitive suite of crypto products that work for everyone, giving more people access to the economic benefits of Decentralised Finance. We also truly believe that, in order to build an inclusive product, we need to foster an inclusive working environment and a diverse team of passionate Argonauts. We encourage our colleagues to work flexibly and autonomously, in the way the suits them and their lifestyle.\n\nWeโ€™re an equal opportunity employer, and encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
