The Deutsche Streaming Allianz GmbH (DSA) builds and operates streaming solutions in the areas of sports, TV and events. We may be a young start-up, but the two founders Radek and Pavel combine decades of experience in the streaming business. We have already been able to win well-known customers from the TV sector and the German Football League for DSA.

Our vision is a SaaS product for streaming, which we are already very close to achieving. In order to further develop the product and generate solutions for our customers, we are looking for a Senior Mobile & Frontend Developer React & Typescript

We are seeking highly skilled developers with exceptional problem-solving abilities to join our international team. Ideal candidates will possess strong debugging skills across a variety of platforms and languages, including React, React Native, Kotlin, Java, Swift, and TypeScript. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our SaaS product, ensuring high-quality, bug-free software. As a 100% remote team, we require fluency in English to facilitate clear and efficient communication. Extended Version:

We are an international and interdisciplinary team where you will be involved in the implementation of our frontend applications based on React and React Native.

Our applications run on web, iOS, iOS TV, Android, Android TV, Fire TV, Samsung/Tizen and LG. You customize them for our clients, keeping in mind that we are moving further towards SaaS. 

Our products are sometimes heavily used, so you make sure that the quality and functionality of the application meets the requirements. 

We are a small team, so you will be in direct contact with our customers to find and implement the best possible solution together.

We work internationally and therefore 100% remotely. But we are happy to provide you with a co-working space in your area if you wish. 

You should have senior programming experience, we will teach you everything DSA-specific. We believe in people who want to learn and realize something, so we expect you to enjoy coding and to want to realize the best possible product.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of work experience as a software engineer or relevant experience
• Strong and confident communicator in English
• Strong problem solver
• Comfortable with collaboration and open communication across distributed teams

• Proven track record of shipping software and successfully released apps (please include names and links on your resume)
•  5+ yrs of commercial experience using React or Vue or any JS framework on the front-end and a major framework like Rails/django/go/elixir/java/flask/laravel on the backend. 
• Strong technical design and development skills
• Experience with Continuous Integration
• Proven work experience inside of a distributed team, in a remote environment
• Strong attention to detail on every line of code, every unit test, and every commit message
• Comfortable with rapid development cycles and tight schedules

Its IT dept consists of 500 developers who work with AI, Web3, and Legacy systems. With 50+ projects running per year.

The department where the FS Java/React devs are needed was established 4 years ago as an experiment and proved successful. It became a special unit of talented people within the company - using modern techniques / 47 Devs currently.

They have a constant flow of talented developers and are looking for more experienced Java, Spring, and React developers to join their team long-term.

Requirements:

• BSc in Software Engineering or BS degree in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in the following technologies: Java, Spring (must have)
• Experience with Functional Programming and Java Streams.
• 4+ years of experience in FE, mainly React (must have), and other modern java script Framework/libraries.
• Experience with developing a reactive UI (Reactive JS).
• 2+ years of experience in TDD/BDD development in the following frameworks: Junit, Jasmin, Mockito, Protractor/Selenium
• 2+ years of experience in micro-services-based architecture and tools (Spring Boot/Cloud)
• Experience in DevOps development and Jenkins.
• Experience in development in Kotlin – an advantage.
• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud/hybrid-based solutions.
• Experience in developing and deploying in Container based environments (Kubernetes, Cloud foundry).
• Familiarity with the following design concepts: micro-services, service discovery, circuit breaker.
• Self-starter with the ability to appropriately priorities and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Versatility and capability to switch easily between different tasks and technologies.
• Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products.
• Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
• Good English - verbal and written.
