Seeking ambitious and creative remote Head of Partnerships for fast-growing YC startup. We’re going to 10x in the coming year, and our partnership programs is be the leading driver. \n\nWe currently have 2 products: \nConsumer travel medical insurance for Digital Nomads and Global health insurance for remote teams. \n\nAs our Head of Partnerships, you’ll be scaling both our b2c affiliate program on our first consumer product and developing b2b partnerships on our newest product for companies. \n\nWe're a strong team of about 20. We work distributed, but also synchronously together. We’re a very collaborative and creative team. Our official headquarters is in San Francisco. We have quarterly gatherings, and you will receive both salary and equity compensation.\n\nSafetyWing went through Y Combinator (W18), has raised venture-funding and have been growing >20 % monthly since launch a year and a half ago. See more on\n\n\n# Responsibilities\n The Head of Partnerships is a challenging role at SafetyWing, but also one of the most creative. We encourage you to think big! \n\nYou’ll be dealing with multiple products and teams and your responsibilities will be focused on two areas: \n\nOur affiliate program aimed at Digital Nomads - You’ll be managing a team of people who work 50 - 70 %. Their goal is to gather affiliate partners who produce and post content about us. The program needs to be scaled up 10X over the coming year and along with the scaling we will need to expand on the system and processes for it . Current team is around 10 and could be 5x that in a year. What you’ll be doing:\n- Scaling our network of partners \n- Identifying new segments of partners to work with \n- Scaling the content and sales coming from our existing network \n- Leading our partnership team of around 10 people \n\nBuilding a partnership program for our new B2B insurance product. This could include affiliate marketing, but also things like building partnerships with other remote brands in the space, finding big name companies to rep our brand etc. \n- Taking over existing partnership relationships \n- Process partnership opportunities and strategies\n- Identify and partner with B2B influencers and content producers \n- Find areas of opportunity for product integrations and co-marketing\n \n\n# Requirements\n**We're looking for someone who:**\n\n- Wants to help build a global social safety net on the Internet\n- Experience in scaling an affiliate or partnership program is a plus \n- Analytical thinker who is good with numbers \n- Highly organized and energetic \n- Enjoys managing people \n- Is good at writing and communicating\n- Resourceful - you’re a creative problem solver and will get the job done, whatever it takes \n\nYou have a courageous and ambitious founder personality, with the ability to get things done, which means you:\n- think for yourself instead of copying others\n- are willing to try new things with the risk of failure\n- are creative and bold in the face of any problem\n- are honest and have high integrity\n \nNote: You can work from any location you choose, but the Asia timezones can be tricky with team meetings. \n \n\n#Salary and compensation\nCompetitive equity and salary + benefits /year\n\n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide
