This job post is closed and the position is probably filled. Please do not apply.
Hello there!\n\nDo you want to help a very ambitious startup move even faster by clearing obstacles for our development team?\n\nAnd yes, the role is fully remote.\n\nLikvido is a (very) fast-growing startup. We are 25 employees now, and we have just raised a seed round to realize our huge ambitions for the coming years. \n\nWe’re now looking for a project manager, who is responsible for running our sprints, test features, coordinate releases and be the go-to person for our developers. We will also pay for SCRUM courses, so you can implement that in Likvido!\n\n\n*!BEING ABLE TO CODE IS NOT A REQUIREMENT!*\n \n\n**So what are we doing?**\n\nWe’re helping small companies succeed.\n\nWe’ve built an “Invoice CRM” - imagine a system like Hubspot / Pipedrive / Salesforce, but for your invoices. You can assign workflows, add todos, write notes and much more. We’re currently only in Denmark, but the platform is international and ready to scale internationally in 2020.\n\nOn top of the “Invoice CRM”, we’re going to launch financial products. Imagine, when you create the invoice - we will automatically pay our client the majority of the invoice - RIGHT away! BEFORE their client even paid! How cool is that?\n\nThis is possible because we have full control of the payment flow, and we have a very large data-set our data scientists are using for transaction-level credit ratings. This makes it possible to only provide loans on low-risk invoices.\n\nThe goal is to help small companies succeed. We have ~1.500 customers right now, and we’re adding 1-200 customers every month. In a few years, we should have millions of invoices through the system every month.\n\n\n# Responsibilities\n At Likvido we’re working with bi-weekly development sprints. We already have a product-owner, who is responsible for preparing a backlog of tasks. \n\nYour job is to make sure as many items from the backlog get solved! If we break that down, that means you will be responsible for:\n\n* Be responsible for the sprint-plannings, daily standup format, and other recurring developers meetings\n* Be the go-to person for the developers with any questions. Your job is to find the answer (typically coordinating with the rest of the company).\n* Help test features from a business perspective, to verify tasks are ready for a release\n* Follow-up on all the tasks in the current sprint, update our issue system and push all features forward\n* Be the constant force for getting features released. Make sure no tasks get stuck, but always moved forward until they’re done\n\nToday, the role is basically filled by our CTO (who is also writing this job ad..). I need to get out of everything day-to-day, and you’re a success in this job if I don’t have to worry about any day-to-day in the IT department. Our product owner will deliver the prioritized roadmap, you will be responsible for getting as many tasks solved every sprint as possible. \n\nPractically, I would expect the role will be something like: \n\n* 25 % testing / releasing\n* 25 % meetings (developers or stakeholders)\n* 25 % coordinating and answering questions\n* 25 % planning sprints / process / improving whole flow\n\nBut, hey, being honest - I never hired for this role before. So I guess we will see.\n \n\n# Requirements\nWe’re very open to different backgrounds for this role. If you come from a non-tech background, coding background, testing background or even a product background - doesn’t matter. \n\nHowever, the following things are very important:\n\n* Fluent in English\n* You should LOVE structure and loves to make project plans (and follow up on them)\n* You’re social and outgoing. You need to coordinate with many people in a company while being remote\n* You’re above average IT-savvy. You should be able to: 1) download development programs & run applications from your computer 2) use many different systems & programs\n* We don’t care about time-zone, but you need to be online at least 10am - 3 pm Central European Time (CET) daily\n* Being able to spend at least 6-8 weeks per year in Copenhagen, Denmark\n\n\nIt’s a huge plus if you’ve worked with SaaS (software-as-a-service) before, or has worked in accounting systems.\n\nIt’s also worth noting that we’re a startup with big ambitions. This also comes with big expectations. We don’t expect you to work crazy Silicon Valley hours, but you should also expect to work significantly more than 40 hours per work.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n$55,000/year\n\n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

Hi future Likvido employee!\n\nAs the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of a very fast-growing startup: I need you.\n\nWe’re looking for a remote “development manager” / "product manager". This is basically “The Right-Hand of the CTO”, as I need help with everything from speccing new tasks, testing tasks, answer questions from developers and even conceptualize new features.\n\nYOU DON’T HAVE TO BE ABLE TO CODE. However, It’s expected you’re the rare unicorn that is both technically very strong but also very good at communications, user experience and understands the business side of things.\n\nWhat are we doing:\nSince we launched Likvido in April 2018, we’ve absolutely nailed it. Not only do we now have 1.000+ customers - among many of the hottest startups and scaleups in Denmark - we also managed to get very serious funding, have very good unit economics and built a really cool technical platform. However, we’re just getting started.\n\nSo what are we doing?\nWe are solving the biggest reason for companies going bankrupt in Europe. You see, 19 % of all invoices are paid late, and roughly half of all bankruptcies are caused by lack of cash.\n\nLikvido is defining a new category we’re calling a “customer payment system”. Today you integrate Likvido with your accounting system, and then we automate sending out invoices, send our reminders, start debt collection and post back to the accounting system. Looking ahead, we will add financial products, give the whole organization access to our system and much more. In brief, we help companies get paid - on time - and forecast their cash flow.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n# Responsibilities\n Your job responsibilities will be:\n\n- To maintain a high product quality, through both lots of testing of new features & continuously improve everything we have live\n- Ensure great performance by metrics such as: errors in logs, fast page-load, check request amounts\n- Release management and making sure new code goes live (without problems)\n- Help our CTO specify new tasks to our development team, and verify specification makes sense on all new tasks\n- Help our development team with questions on features\n- Be responsible for our internal IT support email\n \nTo make it concrete, during an average day, you could expect to do some of the following:\n\n- Testing a new feature made by a developer, and giving structured feedback (in Github)\n- Checking website speed and amount of requests (in Azure)\n- Testing a new release is ready to be rolled into production and then pulling the “release trigger!” (in Azure Devops)\n- Reply to support tickets from our internal support department (in Intercom), and realize we have a bug, that you specify a solution for our development team (in Github)\n- Help developers with questions about tasks (in Slack)\n- Get a few hours to come up with some examples of how a new type of page could look (concept development) \n\n# Requirements\nWe’re very open to your background, but the following is important to have in mind:\n\n- Fluent in English\n- Some kind of formal education in business, economy, communication, IT or marketing is required\n- You’re very detail oriented and structured\n- You’re IT-savvy. You should be able to: 1) download development programs & run applications from your computer 2) be open to learn SQL / databases if you don’t know it 3) use many different systems\n- You have a Windows computer or are OK with installing Bootcamp and running Windows when you work. Parallels is not good enough\n\nA big part of the job is providing feedback to our developers by testing and speccing. It’s also extremely important that you’re able to quickly understand what we do, so you can help us improve the product. It’s a huge plus if you’ve worked with SaaS (software-as-a-service) before, or has worked in accounting systems.\n\nIt’s also worth noting that we’re a startup with big ambitions. This also come with big expectations. We don’t expect you to work crazy Silicon Valley hours, but you should also expect to work significantly more than 40 hours per work.\n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

Expect about 10% travel as you visit key accounts regularly.\nIn addition, as a CROmetrics team member, you will:\n+ Support the professional growth of the team through leading and/or participating in ongoing training, e.g. book club\n+ Engage in non-client related activities that help grow our business, e.g. writing the PM job description or delivering hypotheses and mock-ups for a sales deck\n+ Actively participate in our remote culture\nIf you don’t have previous management experience, an individual contributor role at CROmetrics might be a possibility. The type of individual contributor who will succeed in this role is strongly correlated with prior management experience since the type of client problems you encounter require solutions that leverage both the client and internal teams typical of strong internal product managers who need to influence teams that don’t report to them.\n## Who we’re looking for\nOur most successful candidates have the following skills/experience/traits:\n+ 10+ years of professional experience working in digital product management, user experience design or similar roles on web products. You must have experience running successful, mature A/B testing or personalization programs. Familiarization with Optimizely is a bonus.\n+ Experience managing other product managers or marketers running optimization programs.\n+ 5+ years experience managing others.\n+ Demonstrated extremely strong presentation and communication skills\n+ Built and delivered product roadmaps full of winning and losing ideas\n+ Passion for using data to improve user experiences\n+ Hands-on experience analyzing digital business data to inform decisions and plan strategically\n+ Worked cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment, preferably in a remote capacity\n+ Genuinely like working with clients and their distributed stakeholder groups\n+ Love product strategy, but obsessed with the details on execution\n+ Lifelong learner\nIf you’re interested in checking out the swell people you’ll be working with, click here [to learn more about the team.](https://crometrics.com/meet-the-team/)\n_If you have questions as you go through this, make notes and if we haven’t answered them by the end, feel free to email [email protected] or [email protected]_\n## Our Culture\n+ **We’re a remote company.** We are spread out all over the country and enjoy the flexibility remote working affords. Want to go on a mountain bike ride in the middle of the day? Cool, don’t forget your helmet! Need to pick the kids up from school? Nice, you’ve got parent of the year in the bag. We stay connected through Slack and workcations, including one annual trip that is funded by the company.\n+ **Our engineers value elegant code, but move fast.** We’re writing code that runs on top of existing websites. Some tests only run for a few days before disappearing (though some do so well they become a permanent part of the client’s site). If “minimum viable product” isn’t in your lexicon, you aren’t a good fit.\n+ **Communication is critical.** We’re a remote company. That makes communication — including writing and reading comprehension — extremely important. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers and writers. This is not a simple “write specs and close tickets” gig. Successful applicants enjoy the process of defining and clarifying specs, documenting processes, improving processes, seeing their ideas and work affect millions of users, and uploading custom emoji to Slack.\n+ **We’re relentlessly focused on our client’s happiness.** The PM is a client-facing role. Managing a client relationship virtually takes a different type of skill set – the PMs have to be both a strategic partner, the customer (represented by the data), teacher and project manager over the phone/email/Slack, all while delivering an exceptional level of service. **** This is for US only applicants *****\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to professionalize our testing procedures. Currently, we do not have much of an organized QA process in place and we've grown to a point where that needs to change. We have a decent amount of Automation Testing, but we need better procedures in place to support its usage, along with the implementation of a whole testing process. We are a small digital agency with a very large project. \n\nQA Manager's responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)\n\nThe QA manager role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective.\n\nUltimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback \n- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases \n- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities \n- Execute automation scripts and provide feedback to engineers on failure\n- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs \n- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved \n- Develop and apply testing processes to reduce bug flow into production\n- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements \n- Monitor debugging process results \n- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions \n- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts \n\nRequirements\n\n- Proven work experience in software quality assurance \n- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes \n- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases \n- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing \n- Hands-on experience with executing automated testing \n- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process \n\nAbout Blue Orange Digital\n\nFounded by a team of freelance engineers, Blue Orange Digital wanted to bring an engineering approach to the agency model. Our projects use the latest and greatest technologies and afford/require a lot of direct code contribution from each developer. We care about the products we build and only work with clients that understand that good applications come from happy engineers. About Vetspire\n\nVetspire is an Artificial Intelligence driven veterinary medical records and practice management platform. We’re a startup reimagining the way that veterinarians use technology, impacting every aspect of patient care from AI assistance in the exam room to managing client communications and clinical analytics. As part of our team, you’ll be designing the future of what veterinary technology should and can be, and you’ll be joining a founding team out of the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory building a research platform for evidence-based veterinary medicine.\n\nThe Role\n\nWe’re growing quickly and looking for a senior full stack software engineer to join the team to help bring veterinarians’ dreams into fruition. Your day to day work will consist of learning and understanding veterinarians' and veterinary staff needs and bringing them into reality from the front-end to the backend. To do this, you’ll be working at every stage of patient care from the exam room to back-end analytics.\n\nSome examples of what your work may look like:\n* Creating an emergency room clinical census to monitor patients and alert staff in real-time.\n* Designing the interface and algorithms for intelligent immunization reminders.\n* Building a secure messaging platform for client and doctor communications.\n\nWe're looking for someone who will take ownership over the full pipeline of their work in a team-centered atmosphere that will work and talk directly with the users every day. You'll want to take pride in talking with clients to understand their needs, brainstorm with the clients to find the ideal solution, implement the back-end architecture at scale, design beautiful and intuitive interfaces on the front-end, and continually iterate based on client feedback. \n\nThis specific role will be very hands-on: you'll work closely with our veterinary users to understand their unique needs and build solutions for them to solve real problems in the field. It's half-part engineering, half-part problem solving.\n\nVetspire is a remote, distributed team, so this will be a remote role. Occasional travel to Austin, TX will be required for in-person meetings.\n\nTechnologies\n\nOur backend is a GraphQL Phoenix/Absinthe application written in Elixir, our front end is a React SPA using the Apollo GraphQL framework, our primary database is PostgreSQL, and it all runs on Google Cloud via Kubernetes.\n\nExperience with these technologies will be a great bonus (especially Elixir, React, and GraphQL), but the most important experience is in understanding users’ problems and putting together end-to-end solutions. Experience in healthcare technology is also a boon, but not at all required. Keen attention to detail and design is a must. \n\nInterview Process\n\nIf you're a good fit, we'll reach out to set up a phone call to tell you more about Vetspire. If you're interested, we'll work quickly to identify if this will be the best role for you:\n\n~30 minute screen, where we'll just ask some basic questions to understand your experience and skill level.\n~Short 2-hour max Take-Home Coding Assignment\n~1-hour technical interview to review the coding assignment\n~1-hour interview with our CEO.\n\nAfterwards, we'll hope to make you an offer and have you join our team!\n\nSalary range: $120,000-$150,000 USD\n\nContact\n\nIf you have any questions before applying, please feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any questions.\n\n\n\n#Location\nAustin, TX
