In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the company to design and build infrastructure, technical controls, and programs that strengthen our security and privacy practices.\n\n\nThis is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.\n\n\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n* Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in the security and DevOps spaces.\n* Demonstrated experience building and securing containerized environments including Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).\n* Experience writing and managing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.\n* Experience automating tasks using a scripting language such as Python, Powershell, or Bash.\n* Experience writing/reviewing software in Go.\n* A heart for mentoring and leveling up your teammates.\n* Must excel in communication and demonstrate an exemplary customer service mindset.\n* Exceptional collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills.\n* Proven ability to influence others, negotiate to positive outcomes, and gain buy-in from partner teams on large-scale initiatives.\n\n\n\nWhat you can expect:\n* To automate the building and managing of infrastructure for the Security team using containers, IaC, and CI/CD as we pivot towards self-reliance.\n* Partner with our Cloud Platform Engineering team to establish security standards and provide pre-secured templates to the rest of the 1password tech organization.\n* To operate as a technical leader by helping define the Infrastructure Security roadmap and by leveling up junior employees.\n* To collaborate cross-functionally to ensure 1Password systems are designed and built with security in mind. \n* Build strong relationships with partner and stakeholder teams in order to build a scalable infrastructure security program.\n\n\n\n\n\nUnited States-based roles only: The Annual salary for this role is between $180,000USD and $244,000USD, plus immediate participation in 1Passwordโs benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
