LI.FI is hiring a
Remote Senior Fullstack Engineer

\nJob Description\n\n\nJumper is cryptoโ€™s everything-exchange powered by LI.FI. By building on the sophisticated cross-chain infrastructure of LI.FI, we offer a comprehensive multi-chain experience for any and every person in crypto to move and use their funds across chains as easily and flexibly as they desire.\n\n\nOur vision? We want to make multi-chain DeFi easy and fun!\n\n\nWhile we live under LI.FIโ€™s umbrella, we pride ourselves in our small but excellent and very agile team. Jumper already has over 100k active users, and still we are only now getting started to build it from the ground up. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer you would be at the core of this new adventure - completely owning the realization of Jumperโ€™s underlying infrastructure and bringing new ideas to life!\n\n\n \n\n\nA quick run-down of the job\n\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who will lead the design, development, and maintenance of our scalable and secure backend infrastructure. This includes the establishment of a completely new backend and a scalable infrastructure for Jumper. Additionally, you will be very hands-on in our frontend and the LI.FI widget integration in order to quickly ship new features. In this role, you are expected to split your work between frontend and backend. In order to move quickly, the emphasis initially will likely be on frontend work during the first few months, with a gradual shift towards backend responsibility over the near-term.\n\n\n \n\n\nWe are a small team, and every one of our engineers is expected to strongly contribute to Jumperโ€™s success by coming up with independent ideas and solutions to complex challenges. The current team includes: a Senior Full-Stack, a Junior Frontend Engineer, a Product Designer, a Technical Product Manager and a Business Lead. In addition, one more Full-Stack Engineer will be added to the team soon. In the near future, we would also love to see one of the Sr. Engineers to evolve into an engineering lead position for our small team.\n\n\n \n\n\nOur current stack:\n\n\n\n * Node.js running TypeScript code in Docker containers\n\n * NextJS and React.js\n\n * MongoDB and Redis\n\n * Github, Kubernetes, AWS and CloudFlare for our GitOps CD chain\n\n * Ether.js and Wagmi\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nPlease note: You must be located in the EMEA region. Your application will not be considered if you're outside EMEA.\n\n\n \n\n\nWhat youโ€™ll do\n\n\n\n * Architecting and implementing scalable and robust infrastructure solutions that can handle growing user loads and evolving business needs (we are already used by over 100k monthly active users).\n\n * Developing and maintaining comprehensive test suites, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the reliability of backend systems.\n\n * Design and develop high quality frontend applications that are testable and maintainable.\n\n * Be responsible for development of prototypes, new frontend features and React components.\n\n * Leading the design, development, and maintenance of a newly developed Jumper backend system and APIs.\n\n * Collaborate closely with the Software Engineers, Product Manager and Designers within your team.\n\n * Review the work of your teammates and support them in their growth through guidance and mentorship where needed.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nWhat makes a good candidate\n\n\n\n * Must be located in the EMEA region.\n\n * Effective communication skills (in English) with the ability to build relationships and work in a small but excellent team while self-guided on a day-to-day basis.\n\n * Extensive professional experience in a similar role (as senior or lead).\n\n * Experience in UX/UI development.\n\n * Experience in software design and architecture.\n\n * Knowledge of testing frameworks and principles.\n\n * Passion for new technologies and ability to autonomously evaluate them and make suggestions for improvement.\n\n * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science is a plus.\n\n * Previous working experience in the blockchain space or related technical understanding is a plus (especially with Wagmi).\n\n\n\n\n\nWe encourage you to apply if you feel your experience and skills equip you for this job but are not listed here!\n\n\n \n\n\nCompany culture\n\n\n\n * \nEmpowered teams: We take the best person with the right skills, and then inspire them to use them! We trust our team and give them the space and ownership to excel and achieve.\n\n * \nFlexible time management: We believe work should adapt to your life, not the other way around. We only schedule a few fixed meetings every week โ€“ you're free to arrange the rest of your time as you like.\n\n * \nInclusive culture: Itโ€™s our priority to make our whole team feel included, appreciated and respected. Our global, culturally diverse team is our most important asset.\n\n * \nRemote-friendly: Weโ€™re a fully remote, global company. As long as youโ€™re not on Mars (the WiFi is terrible we heard), being part of our team from the comfort of your own home works perfectly well for us.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nWhat youโ€™ll get\n\n\n\n * Entitlement to a work computer (choice of equipment).\n\n * Unlimited remote days and flexible working hours.\n\n * Annual team off-sites (Thailand was a blast last year & Vietnam will be even blast-ier).\n\n * An annual 1000โ‚ฌ personal development budget once you have worked 6+ months (pro-rated the first year).\n\n * A one-time 1000โ‚ฌ remote budget to use on co-working, office setup, etc.\n\n * Initial equity allocations once you have worked 6+ months.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nCompensation & Package\n\n\nBase package + equity \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, Crypto, React, Docker, Testing, Typescript, Senior, Engineer and Backend jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $110,000/year\n

Obol is hiring a
Remote Senior Frontend Engineer DApp Development

\nWho Are We?\n\n\nObol Labs is a remote-first research and software development team focused on Proof of Stake infrastructure for public blockchain networks. Specific topics of focus are Internet Bonds, Distributed Validator Technology, and Multi-Operator Validation. The core team includes 35 members spread across +14 countries.\n\n\nThe core team is building the Obol Network, a protocol to foster trust-minimized staking through multi-operator validation. This will enable low-trust access to Ethereum staking yield, which can be used as a core building block in various Web3 products.\n\n\nThe Network\n\n\nThe network can be best visualized as a work layer that sits directly on top of the base layer consensus. This work layer is designed to provide the base layer with more resiliency and decentralization as it scales. In this chapter of Ethereum, we will move on to the next great scaling challenge, which is stake centralization. Layers like Obol are critical to the long-term viability and resiliency of public networks, especially networks like Ethereum.\n\n\nObol as a layer is focused on scaling main chain staking by providing permissionless access to Distributed Validators. The network utilizes a middleware implementation of Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), to enable the operation of distributed validator clusters that can preserve validators' current client and remote signing configurations.\n\n\nSimilar to how roll-up technology laid the foundation for L2 scaling implementations, we believe DVT will do the same for scaling the consensus layer while preserving decentralization. Staking infrastructure is entering its protocol phase of evolution, which must include trust-minimized staking networks that can be plugged into at scale. We believe DVT will evolve into a widely used primitive and will ensure the security, resiliency, and decentralization of public networks.\n\n\nThe Obol Network develops and maintains three core public goods that will eventually work together through circular economics:\n\n\nThe DV Launchpad, a User Interface for bootstrapping and managing Distributed Validators\n\n\nCharon, a Golang based middleware client that enables validators to run in a fault-tolerant, distributed manner.\n\n\nObol Splits, a set of solidity contracts for the formation of Distributed Validators tailored to different use cases such as DeFi, Liquid Staking, and Fractionalized Deposits \n\n\n\n\nSustainable Public Goods\n\n\nObol is inspired by previous work on Ethereum public goods and experimenting with circular economics. We believe that to unlock innovation in staking use cases, a credibly neutral layer must exist for innovation to flow and evolve vertically. Youโ€™ll join a network of entrepreneurs and technologists that reaches the edge of our ecosystem. Consensys alumni have moved on to become tech entrepreneurs, CEOs, and team leads at tech companies. \n\nAbout the team\n\nConsensys Staking is a leading ETH staking provider, currently operating ~4.5% of all Ethereum validators, with around 1 million ETH staked to date or around $2B of value in dollar denomination. These user interfaces help our customer base to understand the Staking lifecycle, and provide valuable insights into rewards received. In addition, new technologies and research are actively being undertaken, potentially providing more opportunities for rewards and services and will be available through the user interface. \n\nThe ideal candidate for this position has experience using and working with the Ethereum protocol either in a Staking related capacity or similar domain and is able to lead a feature area autonomously.\n\nIn addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in web3 dapp design and User experience, or working with indexed blockchain data and data reporting. \n\nWhat youโ€™ll do\n\n\n* 3 + years of experience as a Front End or Full Stack Software Engineer working on production application\n\n* Experience with front-end development (typescript, react, next.js)\n\n* Experience with, or understanding of databases like PostgreSQL and data indexing architecture and infrastructure\n\n* Experience working on agile projects in an Agile environment\n\n* Experience working in CI/CD setup\n\n* Experience working in a distributed, remote team environment\n\n* Excellent communication skills\n\n* Writing good technical documentation\n\n* Located in EMEA/able to work EMEA business hours\n\n\n\n\nBonus points:\n\n\n* Understanding of the Staking eco-system across Ethereum or other protocols \n\n* Experience designing and implementing features \n\n* Working awareness of the Ethereum roadmap and how EIPs can impact a product\n\n* General interest in DevOps topics / experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes and deploying cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure)\n\n* Blockchain / smart contract development: Solidity / Ethereum, Web3.js or Ethers.js library\n\n* Experience using or working with decentralized applications or web3 protocols\n\n* BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related subject\n\n\n\n\nDon't meet all the requirements? While we have a pretty good idea of what we need, we're ready for you to challenge our thinking on who needs to be in this role.\n\nConsensys is an equal opportunity employer.
