\nBear Group is a leading web development firm based in Seattle looking for an experienced backend web developer to join our team of Drupal and Magento. We're looking for an amazing developer who is well versed in either the Magento or Drupal platform (both would be amazing). You will have the opportunity to work with leading companies and marketing teams to develop complex sites and integrations between systems.\n\nWe are a fully distributed team that primarily builds in PHP on the Magento and Drupal platforms for ecommerce and content management sites. Since we are fully remote, you can work from anywhere! We do require at least 4 hours of working time overlap with the Pacific time zone work day where most of our clients are located. As a highly client focused organization, you will occasionally need to meet according to their schedule. This typically falls between 10 and 5 Pacific time, and we strive to give you plenty of time to focus on development.\n\nWorking with a variety of clients, we fluidly form groups including a Technical Project Manager, a Quality Analyst, and one or more developers to complete sprints of work. The type of work depends on the client, but often includes:\n\n\n* Developing custom modules and extensions for Drupal CMS and Magento Commerce.\n\n* Integration with various APIs and third-party systems.\n\n* Migrating existing sites to modern platforms.\n\n* Knowledgeable with front-end development: HTML/CSS/Javascript coding, with Twig and PHP at the template level\n\n\n\n\n\nWith Bear Group, you will tackle technical problems, code and debug primarily PHP/javascript/css, and occasionally participate in client meetings. You will need to be self-motivating and able to work independently most of the time, but we have a friendly and capable team to collaborate with when you encounter obstacles. Since the technology world is constantly evolving, you’ll be expected to keep up with the current technologies and practices. To help with this, we provide an annual education stipend that can be used for attending relevant conferences or continued education courses.\n\nDuring your first week you will work closely with one of our senior developers to set up your new system and familiarize with our processes and tools. The system will be either Mac, Linux, or Windows to your preference, and we use Vagrant to manage virtual machines for a consistent development server stack. Other tools you will use include:\n\n\n* Git for source control\n\n* Bitbucket for Git repositories\n\n* Jira for project management\n\n* Confluence for documentation\n\n* Slack for communication.\n\n\n\n\n\nAs you get your feet under you we will introduce some project work, again in collaboration with a senior developer on a sprint they are currently working on. Ultimately our developers work independently on your own tickets and sprints.\n\nIn addition to competitive pay, a new computer, insurance, and 401k match, you’ll also receive:\n\n\n* 3 Weeks PTO plus approximately 10 vacation days annually\n\n* $1500 annual education stipend\n\n* Software stipend for the tools that you prefer to do the job\n\n\n\n\n\nTo learn more about the company, visit www.beargroup.com. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

\nAbout the role\n\n\nWe like to build stuff… sometimes complicated stuff… for Art Galleries, Non-Profits and Charities.\n\nWe’re an innovative bootstrapped startup based in London in the UK. We've grown to over 30 staff in the past 2 years based solely on the quality of the work we’ve been producing for our clients and we’re on the lookout for a talented Senior Drupal/PHP Engineer to join our team.\n\nWe do things a little differently, basing all our solutions on open source products, our work covers web design, app development and branding for Charities and non-profit organisations across the country. Our clients include Charities such as Wikimedia and Farm Africa, galleries such as the Photographers Gallery and Craft Central but we've got a long client list that includes other companies, trade associations and government bodies making us a rich and rewarding place to work.\n\nWe are an established and growing Drupal agency, working on many exciting and challenging projects. Most of our solutions are based on Drupal and a widely used CRM module known as CiviCRM that integrates well to the CMS. The combination of the two platforms adds an extra layer of complexity to our work and will give you exposure to other technologies then standard Drupal and a chance to further develop your skills.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\n- 4+ Years Drupal experience\n- Expert knowledge of configuring and building Drupal 7 sites\n- Demonstrable experience of having contributed to the Drupal community\n- Strong Git experience (you know your submodules from your subtrees!) and knowledge of working with Drupal in a team environment (i.e. using features).\n- Applicable Acquia certification a bonus\n- Experience writing PHP unit tests for Drupal\n- Object oriented PHP skills (and/or experience with Drupal 8)\n- Experience with CiviCRM or working with CRM's in general\n\nWhat were looking for is someone who can grasp concepts quickly, has great attention to detail, and most importantly loves a tech challenge. In short, we’re a young team of self confessed geeks who love tinkering and tweaking until something is just right and are looking for someone who thinks and acts like us. If you're interested in the role, please send your CV through to us with a short covering letter explaining what got you interested and why you think you will fit in.

\nMission\n\nWe're looking for a senior Drupal developer with significant experience in back-end development of Drupal sites, especially with experience in the e-commerce arena. We're looking to add build features, upgrade and maintain our existing systems, as well as plan for a transition where pieces of these systems are either migrated to Drupal 8 or other new solutions over the course of the next couple years. All of this work is intimately connected to the rest of our cloud hosting and devops tooling product -- interest in the "devops" problem space and solving problems for our cloud customers is key. Our team stands at the forefront of user experience, as well as new features being offered to our customers and partners. Being comfortable tackling programming problems from the architecture level all the way down to proper code implementation is a big plus -- the team is small, the to-do list long, and engineers generally have a great deal of autonomy to implement features and drive the product forward.  Your contribution matters. \n\nMust Have\n\n- Senior-level experience with Drupal back-end development (both 7 and 8 ideally) -- custom modules and product/feature builds in Drupal\n\n- Desire to tackle feature implementation and user experience design challenges from a high-level user story view through final implementation\n\n- Solid experience with web development patterns and the needs of engineers using a web app development and hosting tool\n\n\nNice to have\n\n- Familiarity with the other languages in our stack (Javascript, Go, Python)\n\n- Experience or interest in the "cloud computing" stuff that makes up our back end, anything from distributed computing to networking to devops and the big box that is "make a bunch of Linux containers play nicely together"

\nWe are now looking for talented Drupalists to join our team of 10 experienced Drupal developers, who not only make sure our clients have elegant, functional web sites, but extra value from versatile integrations and state of the art front ends.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\nThe Drupalist we are looking for is able to utilize the following technologies:\n\n\n* PHP, MySQL, Git\n\n* HTML5, CSS\n\n* Drupal 7 is a must, and Drupal 8 is an advantage as it’s the main tech in our new projects\n\n* Experience working with local development environments based on Vagrant or Docker is considered a plus.\n\n\n\n\nYou can be focused in either Drupal frontend or backend, or both. As a backend developer you will use object oriented programming in your daily work, so experience with that is a must. A frontender should have good CSS skills, know what is SMACSS and atomic design and be familiar with tools like Sass or PostCSS.\n\nFinnish skills are a huge plus, but you do need to be fluent in English.\n\nWhat do we offer?\n\nWhen you work with us, you are never alone with your development ideas and/or questions. Our Drupalists are senior level experts, who learn from each other every day and usually work in teams of 2-3 developers. There are regular events and meetings for sharing our knowledge, often complimented by drinks and snacks. You will have a great chance to impact what technical solutions we utilize and how we work. \n\nIn addition to the above, we really do put effort into continuously developing your expertise. Most of our Drupalists are Acquia certified through Siili, and we want to support you with acquiring similar certificates if you don’t already have them. We are also very committed to the Drupal community as a whole – for example, we are regulars at DrupalCon and local and nearby Drupal Camps.\n\nWe offer you the chance to work with interesting customer projects, with the best colleagues and grow with other Siilis. Being a Siili means that you get to be the master of your own work – we trust you.\n\nLooking forwards to you joining our team!

\nWe like to build stuff… sometimes complicated stuff… for Art Galleries, Non Profits and Charities. We’ve been growing fast over the past few years and so we’re back on the lookout for a confident and ambitious Senior/Lead Drupal (PHP) developer to join our team. We offer a great work-life balance with flexible working hours and a real team mentality! \n\nWe do things a little differently, basing all our solutions on open source products, our work covers web design, app development and branding for Charities and non-profit organisations across the country. The combination of the two platforms adds an extra layer of complexity to our work and will give you exposure to other technologies then standard Drupal and a chance to further develop your skills.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have: \n\n- 4+ Years Drupal experience\n\n- Expert knowledge of configuring and building Drupal 7 sites\n\n- Demonstrable experience of having contributed to the Drupal community\n\n- Strong Git experience (you know your submodules from your subtrees!) and knowledge of working with Drupal in a team environment (i.e. using features).\n\n- Applicable Acquia certification a bonus\n\n- Experience writing PHP unit tests for Drupal\n\n- Object oriented PHP skills (and/or experience with Drupal 8)\n\n- Experience with CiviCRM or working with CRM's in general\n\n\nWhat were looking for is someone who can grasp concepts quickly, has great attention to detail, and most importantly loves a tech challenge. In short, we’re a young team of self confessed geeks who love tinkering and tweaking until something is just right and are looking for someone who thinks and acts like us. If you're interested in the role, please send your CV through to us with a short covering letter explaining what got you interested and why you think you will fit in.

\nThe position\n\nWe are looking to hire intermediate to senior level Drupal developers. You need to have Drupal experience, but compatibility with team culture and attitude towards learning and improvement come paramount to incoming expert knowledge. At Savas Labs we provide peer support and work collectively to achieve our individual and company goals. You will work with a team primarily located in Durham, NC, though we are growing remotely. Remote and on-site positions are available. You will often interface directly with our clients. The position will require proficiency in most aspects of Drupal development. You will also have a voice in the kind of work you find most rewarding, and we will do what we can to meet your preferences.\n\nWorking at Savas Labs\n\nAt Savas Labs, we prioritize a few things. We like people who are enjoyable to work with. We like to learn from and teach one another, and often the result is others learn as well either via blog posts, conference prezzies or social media. We dedicate time each week for self-improvement, socializing, and collaboration. We encourage a flexible work schedule so long as we are upholding our commitments to one another and our clients. We value openness; you are encouraged to be vocal about not knowing something, and fix it. We are very honest, yet very respectful; this is not a cut-throat environment. We take a lot of pride in the quality of our work. We value a work/life balance that keeps us productive and happy. We like to have fun and we take our values seriously. We use emoji a lot . You absolutely don’t have to , since we greatly embrace diversity!
