\nThis is not your average job posting - we're looking for a talented individual, someone to work with part-time / full-time (for a fixed term) or on contractual bases - whatever gets the job done and keeps you motivated. You can work remotely from the comfort of your home, once the project is initiated. We are, however, looking for an individual that resides locally in or around the London / Greater London area; so it's easy to commute to Slough as and when necessary. In any case, applicants living outside the UK should not apply, unless you're willing to commute to Slough at least a few times throughout the course of this assignment OR your experience, expertise and enthusiasm is so relevant to this job that you just have to apply even if you're in another part of the world.\n\nWe need an experienced Windows .NET Developer (C#), or a natural born C# prodigy, to develop a software for Windows 10 from scratch, based on an existing software that's available on the Mac App Store, called: 2Do \n\nThe software is demanding and will require an experienced developer who knows .Net inside out, and is familiar with performant network and database programming (will be using SQLite). \n\nThe developer will also need to be able to read and understand Objective-C code in order to try and port existing core libraries written for the Mac. Without this, you will not be able to port key components which need to be able to translate across platforms. \n\n\nOther than supporting all of the existing features of the Mac app (task management workflows), there will be a fair amount of code to write in order to support sync across devices over Dropbox and CalDAV. Again - this will become easy once the developer is able to read existing code written in Objective-C and port it across. \n\nWe envisage the software not taking more than 3 to 4 months to develop.\n\nDO NOT apply if:\n\n* You don't live within the UK / EU and are unwilling to commute to Slough as and when required, unless as previously stated you're a self-proclaimed C# genius with open source code to back this claim\n* You are not confident or do not have an excellent experience developing desktop applications\n* You are busy with 2 other jobs, fulltime and part-time, or are easily uninterested in your job  \n* You think you'll be able to manage it but are not willing to commit\n* Have disloyalty issues\n* Do not like solving complex problems\n* Give up easily \n\n#Location\n- 🇬🇧UK-only

\nYOU'RE THE BEST\n\nYou're a talented full stack .NET developer and you consistently deliver. You're looking for an exceptional team atmosphere and an environment that's professional but relaxed, goal-driven but experimental and operates like a well-run startup.\n\nYou may even want to work remotely from another city or state - that's totally fine with us. Yep, we're living the dream and we earn our privileges. If that sounds like you, read on…\n\nONE OF US…\n\nWe're an agile, entrepreneurial-led team of kick-arse developers that have pushed the envelope for the last year, architecting experiences for the building and construction industry.\n\nWe operate within a larger corporate environment and enjoy our status as the 'Pirates' of the organisation, leading the charge with modern development techniques and lean-startup thinking.\n\nWe use GIT, Team City, Octopus deploy, Jira, AWS and Slack, to mention just a few of the many apps we're constantly evaluating, play with and frequently adopt. You would be joining us as we take the next evolutionary step in our software development as we develop MVPs, test our hypotheses and develop new services that have a positive impact on our customers' lives.\n\nYou're bringing a wealth of sorcery across C#, SQL, Cloud/AWS, WebApi/MVC and outstanding development practices/patterns.\n\nFRIENDS WITH BENEFITS\n\nWe're a high performing team of developers and we're looking for some exceptional team orientated developers to join our merry crew. This is a permanent opportunity that comes with:\n\n+ The ability to drive and improve the product with your ideas and insight\n\n+ Make a different to people's lives through technology and learn\n\n+ Highly attractive base salary, 12% Super, Leave loading\n\n+ And a sweet-as team based bonus (which we achieved last year)\n\nOur flat structure and energy ensures that everyone's opinion is heard and contributes directly to the future of the product, and as our capabilities grow, we can really see teams forming under our Senior Devs.\n\nThis really is an extremely rare opportunity; be part of a team of where your unique talent and capabilities will be recognised, rewarded and revered.\n\nON-SITE OR WORK REMOTELY\n\nWhile we are based in beautiful sunny Sydney, it's not a requirement to have you work in the office.\n\nWe're looking for self starters who can work remotely, chip in to planning sessions and stand-up via Slack, and who are comfortable and productive working from their home or home office. If you want to work with us in Sydney you would be more than welcome however, it's certainly not a requirement.\n\nWhile other companies might talk about work-life balance, we actually live it and we want to share this opportunity with you.\n\nARE YOU READY?\n\nTake a look at our website at www.csrconnect.com.au and if you're keen to learn more, send an email to our Recruitment Advisor Sam Chan at [email protected] or call 02 9964 1237. This window is only open for a short time so make sure you jump on board quick!

\nWe're looking to bring on a new Junior developer that has expertise in ASP.net MVC5 / WebApi 2.  This person will join our API development team in creating a robust and secure API for a greenfield re-write of our leading CRM solution. \n\n\nTechnologies you should (hopefully) know about: \n\n\n* ASP.net MVC specifically WebAPI 2\n\n* C# (and a strong hatred of Visual Basic)\n\n* Autofac (DI), Automapper, EF6 Code First\n\n* Azure deployments\n\n* Git source control is a must\n\n* Knowledge of Angular would be awesome\n\n* We use Teamcity for CI builds and Octopus to deploy to QA/beta/staging/prod\n\n* Jira agile development flow\n\n* We use Slack/Screenhero for communication between remote team members\n\n\n\n\nWe're a group of around 10 developers split into UI and API teams to build out this next-gen CRM platform quickly but not sacrificing scalability. We work hard but get rewarded for our efforts, we have a very generous bonus structure and solid base compensation. \n\nOccasional travel to the office in Atlanta, GA may be required.\n\nWe don't care if you have a degree, we care about code and you ability to run with ideas without needing constant supervision.

\nSeeking a C#/HTML5/JS developer for an awesome 100% remote contract position.  Ditch the daily grind and code with us from the comfort of your home or wherever your dev-dojo may be!\n\nThis is a 1099 6-month full-time (40hr/wk) contract, with opportunity for continuation, for developing a smart touchscreen IoT controller for use in the energy industry marketed by a Fortune 500 client.  There’s already a few thousand systems in the field and we need extra help to expand the feature set and target some new applications.  We’re ready for you to start coding with us right away!\n\nThe product is an IoT embedded system that’s installed in various outdoor locations on a utility pole, and connects to the internet with a cell modem or other means.  It uses an ARM processor running Linux and the Mono .NET runtime.  An HTML5/JS single-page app is served for both the local touchscreen and remote access UI.\n\nWhat we’re using:\n\n\n* C# 4.5 on ARM/Linux/Mono, SignalR, OWIN/Katana, Dapper, JSON.NET, nUnit.  SQLite.  \n\n* HTML5/JS.  Angular, jQuery, Bootstrap, Require.  WebSockets.  We don’t do any page rendering on the server.  All pages are served static and rendered client-side from JSON data pulled and pushed from server API.\n\n* Developer activities are performed in VS2013, with cloud-based TFS revision control and rolling build.  Code/test/debug on Windows, deploy to Linux.\n\n* Low-latency collaboration via IM, voice calls, and video chat.\n\n* Lots of FOSS with frequent contributions.  In fact, the Software Lead has PR’s accepted into Mono, SignalR, JSON.NET, OWIN/Katana, and Chosen to name a few.  Get paid for working on FOSS code if it’s a bug-fix or feature needed in our project!\n\n\n\n\nWhat you’ll be doing:\n\n\n* Implementing code for features and bug fixes as directed by the Software Lead and product stakeholders.\n\n* Requirements gathering from time to time. For some tasks you’ll need to get on conference calls with the domain experts and figure out the details of what’s needed and how best to achieve it.\n\n* The primary focus for this contract is to expand the system capabilities to control Electrical Submersible Pumps.  There will be plenty of server-side C# work for the embedded logic and data flow as well as client-side JS for configuration, real-time status, reports, and history views.\n\n* Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to the Software Lead.  If you have a better way of doing something and can light the way, we’re open.  \n\n\n
