\nWe are seeking an experienced Salesforce developer to accelerate the growth of our highly customized Salesforce instance. This is a unique opportunity to build internal tools for a rapidly growing luxury jewelry startup. \n \nWho We Are:\n\n\nAda Diamonds is an online custom fine jeweler and the leading luxury retailer of lab diamonds. Our unique online concierge model combines the ease, transparency, and flexibility of an online retailer with the high-touch, client-focused model of a private jeweler. \n \nKnown for our incomparable customer service and quality, the Ada Diamonds team consists of driven, focused individuals that strive for excellence and love to deliver stunning jewelry to appreciative clients. We are searching for candidates with similar tenacity, grit, empathy, and appreciation for quality.\n\n\nThe Role:\n\n\nOur Salesforce instance seamlessly integrates lead management, sales workflows, inventory management, jewelry production, and shipping, all through custom applications developed in Lightning Design System with significant use of open source libraries to improve the UX. There are multiple web services integrations throughout the system with Google Suite (Drive, Email, Calendar), AWS, accounting software, shipping APIs, etc.\n\n\nAs part of our team, the preferred candidate will have ownership of several immediate projects aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of our system.\n\n\nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for multiple aspects of software development to improve our core architecture - from database and UX design to quality control and deployment. Due to the diverse technologies used across our stack, we encourage applications from talented, driven developers even if you are only familiar with portions of the Salesforce ecosphere we use today. \nThe Role:\n\nWe are looking for an experienced, motivated, and strategic Director of Enterprise Applications to join our team! In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a true impact on key revenue-driving initiatives that will take Vectra into the future. As the owner of our Salesforce ecosystem, your team is at the heart of many cross-functional processes. Your primary responsibilities will include driving the design/architecture, development, & governance of our Salesforce instance and related key enterprise applications.\n\nWhat Youโ€™ll Do:\n\n\n* Partner closely with cross-functional teams on various company initiatives that drive revenue, operational efficiency, and scalability.\n\n* Create strong relationships with our stakeholders, aligning on priorities, gathering requirements, and providing consistent communication.\n\n* Build a structured operating cadence for your team that ensures quality, timeliness in delivery, responsiveness, efficiency, and adherence to business needs.\n\n* Manage team capacity closely, finding the balance between project initiatives and general ticket support.\n\n* Develop and maintain a long-term roadmap for addressing cross-functional process improvement, tech debt management, data governance, and security.\n\n* You are the primary owner and technical architect for our Salesforce ecosystem, designing solutions that adhere to best practices and are scalable.\n\n* As Tier 1 technical support for internal customers, ensure timely response and urgency when tickets arise.\n\n* Strong focus and direct management of security measures within our Salesforce ecosystem and any 3rd party integrated applications, collaborating closely with our Information Technology team.\n\n* Responsible for the governance of all direct integrations with Salesforce, including a full understanding of what data flows between systems and how that data is leveraged.\n\n* Stays up to speed on all Salesforce releases, leveraging new features where appropriate.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nWhat Weโ€™re Looking For:\n\n\n* 5+ years of technical leadership experience managing the architecture of Salesforce & other key enterprise applications. Experience in a SaaS B2B environment is preferred.\n\n* 3+ years of previous managerial experience.\n\n* Ability to design and architect, as well as jump in to build and deploy solutions independently.\n\n* Agile: comfortable with a fast-paced environment, can quickly adapt to changing priorities\n\n* Proven track record of leading projects from requirements to go-live; advanced program & project management skills; detail-oriented.\n\n* Strategic & Goal-Oriented: A change agent; someone that thinks strategically and brings fresh ideas to the table.\n\n* Team Leader: motivates, mentors, and holds team accountable to meet goals.\n\n* Technical Orientation: builds secure scalable solutions; reduces tech debt.\n\n* Excellent written and verbal communications skills; is curious and asks questions.\n\n* Team Player: collaborates well across many departments including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Product.\n\n* โ€œGet it Doneโ€ Attitude: someone with a positive and problem-solver mindset; is motivated by reaching goals.\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Technical Competencies:\n\n\n* Expertise & significant experience in the following Salesforce modules: Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud.
